[sblock=ooc]Sorry I didn't get a post up yesterday evening as I had stated I would. Things happened.

There is a back door on the 2nd floor (where half the group broke in), another back door on the other side of the stage (not previously used), and then the main entrance. There is, in fact, no extra entrances in the basement, only the two trap doors.

I will post some blank maps as soon as I can, so you guys can see exactly without having to look at all the changes from earlier.

This, however, is exactly the kind of conversation I'd like to see so I know where to place everyone for the final encounter.

I'm going to auto a little bit, but if there's anyone you want to talk to, or anything you want to do, just say so. I just don't want to spend time taliking to hogoblin 3 if no one's actually interested in talking to hobgoblin 3.[/sblock]

[sblock=Walking Dad] I'm sorry if you're eager for a third character. I assure you this is the final encounter and you'll level up soon.[/sblock]

You rush over to the theatre and find you have about an hour to prepare you're defenses before the patrons start coming in. Coppernail is not present, but there are four hobgoblin soldiers on hand, and they reluctantly admit that they are to defer to your commands for now. If anything is to happen durring the event, they have been given specific instructions to cover the escape of patrons instead of engaging directly.

Essam is there as well as the Lady of the Winds and a handful of new actors and crewmen. Essam is busy giving last minute instructions to most of the people, apparently playign the roll of director. You are told the Lady of the Winds is meditating in her dressing room and two females dressed in robes stand outside her door.

[sblock=healing]Its not an extended rest but it is allot of time. Feel free to heal people Hadrak.

If I didn't say so before, I'll say it now. Because you didn't recruit a replacement for Sheng and because we're not stopping for XP and leveling I'm treating the interrogation at the jail as a full encounter. Between that and the rat fight everyone has 1 Milestone.[/sblock]

Same Rules apply from before when fighting in this space. Maps are currently blank but the show is sold out.

Rurdev nods at Incarnation's words. "I'll patrol around, k-k-keeping an eye out f-f-for anyt-t-thing s-suspicious. W-W-Who is adept at spotting l-l-liars? M-M-Maybe that should watch the p-p-atrons as they come in. J-J-Just in case th-they try something without f-f-forcing entry."

[sblock=Tactics]Looks like:
- Incarnation on third floor at P6
- Dane/Qynn on second floor at H6
- Qynn/Dane on first floor at U6
- And Rurdev making rounds including the front

Thoughts?[/sblock]

-''Yeah, Rurdev's idea is solid. I'll do that.'' Hadrak says.

[sblock=OOC]I'll be at the entrance, paying attention to the patrons coming in and then I'll move on the catwalk next to Incarnation to scan the crowd.

Insight +12.[/sblock]

(I'm going to speak plainly to make things easier)

With a limited number of people, what is our goal? Protect the main actress? Watch the main stage for something funny to happen? Be aware for intruders or thieves? Observe & Report? Search & Destroy? Afterall, we would be splitting the party and if one entrance gets bum-rushed who ever is at the entrance will have to hold the rush off until re-enforcements come in which could take a few rounds . . .

I think too much seperation is a bad thing. If they do just rush the entrance, I think that would put too much pressure on me and/or other nearby. If those by themselves can limit themselves to areas 10' wide and narrower, they can at least bottleneck and hold the area for a round or two.

That said, I'm looking forward to see how this turns out. Should be fun. :D

I doubt we have time, and maybe I've been watching too many movies lately, but what about a tunnel from a nearby building into the basement? Could we look in the surrounding buildings to make sure nothing funny is going on?

Qynn d'Cealis, Eladrin Swordmage 2

"Maybe Dane should help with guarding the entrance. He seems rather good at blocking the way." Qynn suggests.

[sblock=OOC]
I think a fighter with his features along with a melee ranger should hopefully be enough to hold the entrance for a little while. Also Qynn could teleport down from the 1st floor.

Regarding a tunnel: They flew up last time, so I don't think there is another exit down there.

I will take Hadraks Help and only need to spend 1 healing surge to be full :)

And no problem, I can surely wait for one more encounter :lol: (and more treasure, a neck item and leather armor would be great ;)).
