Eraden takes another swat at the bees as his allies go to rescue Graval from the frog. He steps back and lets loose with a burst of divine power. The shot isn't particularly accurate, but it does do a bit of damage. He also sends another burst of divine power towards his newest ally, hopefully allowing him to shrug off the poison.[sblock=Eraden's Actions]Move: shift to G6

Mallaby is not a fully trained fighter. He will only defend himself on his own. He will however, follow orders.
As a minor action, any character can have Mallaby spend an action. He can't use more than the usual complement

(standard, move, minor) in one turn, but a PC's minor action can be used for any of them.

Try not to get him killed. He is paying for this, after all.[/sblock][sblock=enemies]Bee Swarm: AC 16, Fort

Tyris sighs in relief as he feels the poison washed away with Eraden's assistance.

OOC: Beat me to it, I was writing up my turn (although it's just as well since my attack roll missed anyways

"What a peculiar realm this is," comments Goldenhorn as he and his ghostly relatives bend over Graval. "Graval, are you all right?"

[sblock=ooc]Crap. I just realized I messed up when putting the numbers in the die roller. For some reason, my attack roll says 1d20+10, when it should be 1d20+7. With the corrected numbers, the roll would have only been a 15, which means I actually missed the bees.
Does someone else want to take a swipe at them?

I'm sorry guys, I guess I just got in a hurry and didn't notice the discrepancy until now.[/sblock]

"Don worrey Mount'in-mon, 'ere come da Spidah ta da rescue!"

Spider moved away from the bees for a moment, then shifted his momentum back toward them. Using the same technique as before, he swatted them with his huge blade, knocking most to the group, and scattering the rest to the wind.

He grins large, and then looks over at Graval. "Ain't ya gonna do someting inna dis fight?"

1. Lord Adelin Mallaby recruits me and some other adventurers from the Tavern. He asked for protection, on a trip to Allaria. He is to be wed to Elena of Terconis, daughter of the Count of Terconis. According to tradition, the wedding must take place at the ancient chapel of the Terconis family, and the chapel in Count's Crovale lies in the high hills of old Allaria. The lady and the Count are already there.
2. The adventurers board Starlight's Veil, Mallaby's brig. The ship is built for speed, not cargo or battle.
3. Intended Path: Land at Ristaren (100 miles south of Fromish), and make our way up the old highway to here. A mile or two off the highway is the village of Achirem, which is still thriving in the midst of rough country, so they say. From there we cross Derianis ridge, and then down to Crovale. The last part through the hills may be dangerous.
4. We land at Ristaren, and it is a small, poor town.
5. We killed a bunch of spiders.
6. We arrived at Achirem, where Kelvan told us to watch out for:
a. Bramble scar: some kind of trap/pit thing we can't avoid.
b. Hzaka Raiders
c. Ismene: Local robin hood bandit type. Lady, with a band of rugged ladies.
7. Get Jumped, or try to Jump, some Hzaka Raiders.
8. Meet up with Ismene's band, but managed to talk our way through it.
9. Encounter: Angry Bear, Angrier bees, and a hungry frog. Graval got eaten by a frog, but Spider saved him.

Zardi bends down to examine some of the dead bees, curious as to how they kept avoiding his attacks. He picks one up, pulls out it's stinger and poison sac, and pops it in his mouth. He munches on it for a moment with a quizzical look on his face and says "hmmm...chewy".

He scoops up a handful of the bees, stands up, and looks in the direction where Mallaby is hiding. As he stuffs the bees in one of his pouches, he calls out: "Lord Mallaby...are you OK?"

OOC: Encounter over, I assume?

Graval stands to his feet, covered in frog bile and dripping slime from his frazzled beard. "Was doin' somethin', ye treetrunk. Givin' tha durned frog some inde...indigest...some heartburn, haha!" The dwarf laughs as he wrings out his beard, twisting it like a wet barcloth and flinging slime to the ground.

"Strange happenin's in this here forest, what. Never seen such a buncha crazy wildlife like this a'fore, don' fer doubtin'."

OOC: Gonna spend four healing surges to get back to full health.
