Got a message from Scorpius. He's out of touch for a bit, anyone have suggestions for him? If not I'll roll with him for on Tuesday. [/sblock]

You Win!

Seeing his foes spreading their forces, Ruarc hurls his hand axe with deadly precision and force; the blade sinks to the haft in the archer's side. The whirling axe is still in the air as the ranger closes with the third bandit, smacking him soundly with his battle axe. He hardly slows to pull the huge axe free as his long legs propel him swiftly at the archer.

Elurin turns his attention to the bandit who just ran up to him and attacked ineffectually.
He remembers his youth in the House Lebeda and how isolated he was from his family and how his friends among the children of the compound workers would stand by each other and decides that he can safely take a chance and test his companions. The druid takes the form of a tiger, roars loud enough to wake the woods and tears at the bandit with his claws.
The bandit is pushed a step back toward the fortress and Elurin's backup.

The Shaman once more calls her spirit companion to the attack. An icy wind blows down on the bandit attacking Elurin. The spirit companion rides the icy wind and forms in front of the bandit. Mari's rage builds as she notes the glancing blow dealt by the attack. The man stops moving after being rended by the tiger and the chill wind freezing his bones.

With Ezmerelda standing over him with her blade and his allies down, the archer holds his hands up and with a weak smile says, "You got me"

Faustus, Tiefling Avenger

As he grimly stalks toward the supposedly surrendering bandit brandishing his mighty, gore-stained maul, Faustus says, "You foul smudge on the ass of life, you would have given us no quarter had we asked it! And you and your compatriots descended upon these helpless folk to relieve them of their hard-earned bounty with no regard for the sacrifices that they made to get it! What makes you entitled to any more consideration than you have shown to others?" When he arrives and faces the man he will briefly scan the faces of his friends to see if any of them appear to have any objections to him 'doing his thang*' upon the poor wretch, but from the smile on his face, the gleam in his eye, and the glint on his horns it is evident that he is hoping to get at least a few cheers of approval from them.

"Hold, friend. I dislike these bandit folk as much as the next man, but this one's smile says he may have a thing or two to say to us before he's finished."

Faustus, Tiefling Avenger

Faustus takes the claw of his right forefinger and painfully thrusts it upward behind the man's chin. "What say you to that, cur? Here is your chance for a reprieve. Tell us much and tell us quickly so that you may continue to draw breath."

The tiger becomes a staff-holding biped once again. The druid walks over to the grinning archer. "Your dead fellows tried to kill us, you were going to burn the home of these good people here while they were in it. There is no jail for you here. You are a menace to the forest. Why should we let you live? I will give you a hint; it would involve you giving up others like you."
