[Adventure] The Mine-Militia Identity. (DM: horticulture; Judge: covaithe)

Drew moves closer to the dragon and then slips even more, jumping suddenly from his move and turning as he goes. As his leg touches the ground, the other pushes out suddenly like a needle hitting the dragon under the wing.

Drew continues to wave in flexible stance, arms darting in and out in complicated defensive pattern.

Don't kill the dragon! Sharpe shouts, stabbing his sword through the Bugbear's chest, creating a gaping hole through its armor.Capture it and tie it up with ropes! It will be a valuable addition for my ar -ahem- our team!

GM: You'd figure I'd remember the Combat Challenge, seeing as I have a fighter myself. Here's the roll and damage for the Dragon's shift.

Prime OA vs. Dragon (AC 13); damage: 1d20+10=27; 1d8+4=8

The dragon is bloodied; currently sitting at 21/76 hp after MetaVoid's attack and Prime's retconned OA.

Also, Luinnar is correct. Mina was too far to gain the THP from last round.

I'm still going to give patherfinderq1 the 48 hours until Mina is NPC'ed, just in case he gets a chance to log on.

Round 5

Mina takes a few quick steps and, with a wave of her hand, sends a bright mote of light shooting toward the leather wearing bugbear. It strikes the monster in the chest and drops it to the ground.
[sblock=Mina Actions]Move – D13 > C13 > B13
Standard – Magic Missile vs. Bugbear Shadowdancer; 7 damage.[/sblock]

The remaining bugbear takes a step back and looks to be contemplating his options for a moment before he charges forward, swinging his sword with abandon. Drew, however, is much too agile and dodges aside effortlessly.

The dragon, bleeding profusely from many wounds, lets forth it’s terrible breath on Prime, but the automaton ducks behind his shield and is spared the cold wrath. Not content to let its foe get off so easily, the wyrmling rears back and lashes out with its claws, catching Prime on the arm.

Covering his attack with his shield, Prime sinks his sword between the dragon's scales. The beast stumbles backwards with a surprised look, before crumbling into a heap of claws and wings.

[sblock=actions]
Move: Shift to G13
Standard: Shield Feint on the dragon. Attack includes bonuses for last turn's shield feint and flanking, hits AC 31 for 5 damage, and gets 5 HP back from Sharpe's Stirring Shout. This should reduce the dragon's HP to 0 after Felix's attack.

Since Mina can automatically kill the last minion with Magic Missile, I think the fight is basically over[/sblock]

Before the party can deliver the final blow to the Dragon, Sharpe rushes over. Wait, wait! He yells.

This is your last chance Dragon! Join me and my mi-, companions, and save the militia people for lots of money and healing and yummy bugbears, free melee attacks and stuff. Refuse and I'll kill you myself!
he says, waving his sword.

OOC: Using Words of Friendship, Diplomacy=32

OOC: I'm willing to hold Felix's action until we see how the dragon reacts. I'm pretty sure the rules for L4W won't allow for him having a White Dragon, but I could be wrong. Horticulture, would you allow it to be a readied action: dragon attacks anyone?
