Ancestral Weapon Master
Similar to the Weapon Master only that the Ancestral Weapon Master’s weapon is bestowed power through offerings to the spirits that reside within the blade. He focuses on the latent ancestral spirit energy of the weapon, unlike the weapon master who focuses on the weapon itself. The Ancestral Weapon Master exerts his will too imbue the ancient spirits with power, in return they grant him his ultimate extraordinary abilities. Ancestral Weapon Masters go through extensive mental and spiritual training, as well as deeply religious ceremonial offerings. Ancestral Weapon Masters must follow the core concepts of bushido: honor, loyalty and courage. A Ancestral Weapon Master that violates this code of conduct is shunned from the ancestral spirits, loses all spiritual abilities and can no longer gain levels as an Ancestral Weapon Master until he atones for his violation. Ancestral Weapon Masters are naturally Samurai; however, Paladins who do not follow a specific god are sometimes drawn to the Ancestral Weapon Master. A Monk is definitely honorable enough for the way of the Ancestral Weapon Master but becoming one would mean picking up the sword and sheath, which Monks usually shy away from. Sometimes extremely honorable Fighters who hold conviction for the loved ones that have been killed by merciless evil-doers might be drawn to this class.
The Ancestral Weapon Master may also freely multi-class between Samurai and Ancestral Weapon Master. Example: a level 8 Samurai/3 Ancestral Weapon Master upon turning level 12 could become a level 9 Samurai/3 Ancestral Weapon Master instead of a level 8 Samurai/4 Ancestral Weapon Master.

Weapon of Significant Spiritual Meaning (ex): WoSSM is a weapon that must have significant spiritual meaning, i.e. slayed a certain person for revenge, Ancient Daisho, defended the life of a lost loved one with it etc. and cannot be a blunt weapon. All of the Ancestral Weapon Master’s special abilities apply to this weapon. If it is broken the Ancestral Weapon Master takes 1d6 dmg/per class lvl and he can no longer gain any more levels in Ancestral Weapon Master until it is re-forged. The Ancestral Weapon Master may pay homage to release the latent spiritual energy in the WoSSM, this allows them to be upgraded just like the Samurai’s Ancestral Daisho, except use Ancestral Weapon Master levels and consult Table 2-2 in the Oriental Adventures book. The WoSSM are always one weapon, unless one was previously a Samurai (katana&wakizashi). Example: if the Ancestral Weapon Master has Samurai levels they stack for determining the Weapon bonus, example a level 10 Samurai/3 Ancestral Weapon Master could put a +5 bonus on his Ancestral Daisho.
Center Spirit (ex): The spirits that reside within the WoSSM center the gathering of personal energy for the Ancestral Weapon Master. Gathering your energy to the center of your body in this way makes it more devastating when released. You gain a +2 insight bonus with your Iaijutsu Focus. This stacks with the +4 insight bonus from the weapon enchantment Focus. Center Spirit is a weapon enchantment bonus that is applied to (all) WoSSM, this bonus to Iaijutsu Focus applies to the wielder while carrying the weapon, even if it is sheathed. This is considered a weapon enchantment not a weapon enhancement but is still considered magical. (If the Ancestral Weapon Master has more than one WoSSM both weapons are enchanted with this ability but their bonuses do not stack; ex. if a samurai’s katana broke, his wakizashi would still give him the bonus)
Spirit Mirage (su)– At level 2, the Ancestral Weapon Master calls upon the spirits to create illusionary mirage slashes of his weapon that do no damage but are effective in scaring and fooling most creatures. It gives him a +4 to attack and +4 to AC in melee combat, both are considered concealment bonuses. Spirit Mirage is negated by the effects of a true seeing spell. The activation of this ability is considered a free action but must be activated on the turn of the Ancestral Weapon Master. Spirit Mirage lasts a number of rounds equal to 3 + charisma modifier (only if it is possitive).
Strike with Heart (ex)-At 5th level add the Ancestral Weapon Master’s charisma modifier to initiative as well as dexterity.
Imposing Ancestral Vengeance (sp)–At Level 3, the Ancestral Weapon Master may call out to the spirits that reside within his blade. Upon calling out to ancestral spirits, the spirits immediately come forth from the blade, screaming for vengeance for the one that opposes the Ancestral Weapon Master. The Ancestral Weapon Master may call upon the ancient spirits for vengeance once per day per class level. Imposing Ancestral Vengeance automatically hits one target within 25ft+5ft/2 class levels and does a 1d6 in damage per class level to an opponent and 1d10 for per class level to undead, this damage is considered spirit damage. Will save half DC=10+Ancestral Weapon Master lvl + positive charisma modifier. Spell resistance-yes. This spell-like ability takes 1 action to cast (standard action) and does draw attacks of opportunity, just like any other spell-like ability, unless the user of the spell-like ability makes a concentration check DC 15+Ancestral Weapon Master level.
Ancestral Honed Blade (ex)-Doubles the threat range of the Ancestral Weapon Master’s WoSSM. This stacks with other bonuses to threat range except, does not stack with the Weapon Master’s Ki Critical.
Iaijutsu to the Sky (ex)-At 9th level the Ancestral Weapon Master has proven with dedication to the spirits that he can go far beyond the limits of a mundane being in gathering personal energy for the opening strike. Therefore, the spirits abolish the skill limit of the Iaijutsu focus. Effect: The maximum damage cap for the Iaijutsu Focus is removed but still goes up respectively. Example 55-59 check result would equal +10d6 dmg.
Numinous Weapon of Force (su)- At Level 10, the Ancestral Weapon Master has gained the supreme respect and admiration from the spirits that reside within the blade. The ancient spirits now grant the wielder a power of old, an ultimate enchantment that turns the weapon into pure force. The Ancestral Weapon Master must again, meditate one full straight week in homage of the omnipotent spirits that inhabit the weapon, and sacrifice 8,000 gp worth of valuables in this ceremony. Upon becoming a Numinous Weapon of Force the weapon “disappears” to everyone but the Ancestral Weapon Master. The Numinous Weapon of Force gains +2 circumstance bonus to hit, since it is invisible to all except the Ancestral Weapon Master; in addition the damage is considered force instead of slashing or piercing. Since the weapon is invisible to all except the Ancestral Weapon Master, he can make opponents believe he is attempting an unarmed attack. He may feint in combat as a free action by making a bluff check (with a +4 concealment bonus), versus the opponent(s) he is attacking’s sense motive check. The Ancestral Weapon Master must make this bluff attempt before he attempts the first strike in combat with his Nominous Weapon of Force. If successful the opponent(s) that failed their check, that are bieng attacked, are flat-footed (This ability could possibly affect more than one opponent, like utilizing whirlwind but not by simply switching targets). Thus in the event that the feint was successful after immediately drawing a Numinous Weapon of Force, the Ancestral Weapon Master’s Iaijutsu Focus can be used. Ancestral Weapon Master can only ever make one Numinous Weapon of Force. This is a weapon enchantment, not a weapon enhancement and does not count for any enhancement market modifiers. All weapon enhancements that were on the WoSSM before becoming a Numinous Weapon of Force remain intact; and weapon enhancements can be added utilizing the WoSSM special. However, a spell caster other than Ancestral Weapon Master may no longer add enhancements for you. If the blade enters an anti-magic field it returns to its original mundane self. In the event the Numinous Weapon of Force is destroyed the Ancestral Weapon Master takes 20d6 damage (this overrides WoSSM damage) and if this be his only WoSSM he loses all supernatural and spell-like abilities from this prestige class. Until the Ancestral Weapon Master yet again meditates for one full straight week in homage of the omnipotent spirits that inhabit the weapon, and sacrifice 4,000 gp worth of items in this ceremony, the spirits then will return the Nominous Weapon of Force with all original enchantments.
(some of the abilities were originaly spawned from soybeanbio’s Ki-Master)
I]Use this skill to gather your personal energy in an iaijutsu duel or immiedately after you draw your blade on a flat-footed opponent[/I]
Check: If you attack a flat-footed opponent immediately after drawing a melee weapon, you can deal extra damage based on your Iaijutsu Focus check. (Then some stuff about participating in an iaijutsu duel that I am not going to add because it is irrelevant) You can also use the Iaijutsu Focus before striking an inanimate object. Your extra damage is halved, just like your ordinary damage. This is the technique martial artists use to shatter objects.
Check Result..........Extra Damage
