I think you should consider anyone employed by WotC to be a contract employee, even if they're not. Nobody's lifelong dream should be to work for WotC, at least not in anything approaching a permanent sense.
 


Andy Collins is gone. I cannot say that makes me unhappy. I thought he was really poor at design with a narrow vision of D&D that he pushed on everyone else.

Belen seems like the person to ask.

I sincerely doubt it. After Rob Heinsoo was laid off, it was only a matter of time.

Now, who's left of the original 4e designers?
If anyone is, he's going to be the next, probably before this year's christmas.
 


I know he is leaving, but there needs to be more definitive evidence he was laid off before the demonizers come out in droves.
