Ash'lon leaps up as Samidare closes in with his sickle-like fang style, and then his claws burst into flame. He dives down again to strike at his opponent with his now-burning fists.

This would be a tough decision, had the waterfall not restored itself... but I do think the Ki-rin has better defense...

Refusing to give in to hopelessness in the face of his foe's dread supernatural power, Samidare's eyes blaze with fury as he assaults Ash'lon with an elaborate kata in the Mantis style.
The mantis elegantly illuminates the beach and cruelly quells the Swamp of Hopelessness; fends off the stab of the club so it defends against the rising of the pole!
