Avatar, season 3, re-runs starting

I think Nicktoons network is going to air the episodes of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" season 3 (Book 3: Fire) that were on Nickelodeon some months ago, starting this Friday or Saturday (...my wretched memory can't recall whether the commercial said Friday or Saturday), at 6:30 or 7:30 pm (again, wretched memory...). So check yer local TV listings.

Or maybe it was starting next week, but I'm fairly sure I remember it being this week. I'll have to watch the Avatar re-runs some more tomorrow to see if they air the commercial again, so I can confirm.

This is what I get for not thinking about posting this earlier in the day, right after the commercial finished. -_-; But hey, now ya know, in case ya didn't already. I know *I* missed a few episodes or parts of episodes this season, so I'm happy.

I'm still not sure when Book 3: Fire will finish airing 'round here in the western US of A. Dangit.

Oh, that is cool. I missed the introduction of a certain major recurring enemy and the beach episode, so I hope I can catch them this time around.

Apaprently, there was an article in Nickelodeon Magazine about Avatar, and they said that the remaining episodes were going to be shown, back-to-back, one-a-night, starting on July 14th, and ending with a 2-hour series finale on Saturday, July 19.

I don't have a link to the actual magazine article, and somehow the math doesn't add up...I didn't think there were 6 episodes left to go. But, it'll be something around that time frame.

I think I saw it mentioned over on Avatarspirit.net that the third season was going to have 21 episodes in total compared to the 20 of the past two seasons, possibly due to Day of Black Sun being an extended episode as opposed to the usual breed of two-parters the series has done in the past.

Not so much concerned with the Nicktoons re-runs as I have the series sets for 1 and 2 as well as S3 on pre-order, but I am looking forward to finally seeing how the story resolves, particularly in regards to Zuko, who has probably been my favorite character since the middle of S1.

If you count the two-parter "The Boiling Rock", I think there are six left. The problem with counting episodes is that they may decide to broadcast the last two or four episodes as a single episode.
