I have very mixed feelings about the show. I found the begining to be hard to get into and I found my attention wandering.

I think lee was right when he told Adama that the human race was more important then anything and that the people on New Caprica made their choice and that saving the human race was more important than guilt.

I also think Tigh is an idiot and the blood of those innocent people are on his hands. How is he hurting the cyclons they don't die they just download to another body. All he is going to end up doing is getting all the humans killed.

Well that episode is the final nail in the coffin for my interest in this series.

Why?

As for myself, I was quite enthralled, though I do agree that it could easily have been condensed into one hour. None the less, I really enjoyed it and Im looking forward to more.
I really liked the 'Great Escape' type ending, very neat. And as usual, I enjoyed the mess with your head next week scenes.

Leoban should have listened. Kara said she wanted chicken for dinner, not steak. Serves him right, it does. :)

So D and Lee are not simply cohabitating but are married. However, we have not seen any real indication of what caused the rift between Lee and Kara and what took the wind out of his sails and caused him to become fatty fatty fat fat.

Laura and Zerek are on the same side – I did not see that coming. Laura, we know, survives. We see that much in the commercials. However, I wonder if Zerek survives.

I am also siding with Saul Tigh. Do whatever it takes to win – winnng is the only goal, ethic, moral or value. The difference between sending a man to his death in a uniform and sending a man to his death in his civies are semantic.

It is good Anders is not simply a paper tiger for Lee to deal with – his is a useful member of the community and resistance fighter

The Cylons keep the Centurions in place with programming that prevents them from developing. Heh. The Cylons are hypocrites. However, we have still not learned if there are any ranks of Cylons above the humanoids.

Abraxas, what are your issues with the show?

My problem is the genetics. Can 2000 people offer enough genetic diversity to save the human race? 40,000 was questionable enough, but 2000 is really pushing it.

So I agreed with Adama's plan. He had to go back and try to save the remaining people, and he had to try to save the remaining civilians in the fleet. Nice compromise.

I liked the episode, a little long, but with good parts like Tigh saying "We are evil men.... I though you knew that."

I don't like the Starbuck-baby plot. Ick! We are supposed to believe that they took her ovaries and made a baby using another human's womb? Huh??? How can Starbuck buy that for a second? (And if it is true, how can the show possibly come up with something so stupid.) And the hole aliens stealing human ovaries thing is way over done. See x-files.

Yes it is a good compromise I just get a little tired of some of the stupid things these people do. They don't seem to realize that they fate of an entire species rest on their actions.

The whole settling on a planet when they knew that they had still could have cyclons on board.

Tigh's plan to kill as many cyclons as possible even if he kills humans in the process is really stupid. What has he accomplished?

The cyclons don't die they just download so how is blowing them up doing any good. All it is doing is killing more humans. Does he think that he can drive them off the planet by making it diffcult for them. They have basehips in orbit they can just nuke them from orbit and be done with them once and for all.

If he was smart he would be building up a restience stock piling weapons getting key people into important postitions and waiting for the Galactica to come back and them make their move.

What he is doing right now is senseless because there is no way to win.
