Ok - whoever decided we had to put with mid-season filler probably needs a slap in the fist place.

But crappy mid-season filler is another matter - why don't we space the person who thought this was a good script instead.

My wife and I love this show. We did not think much of this episode. One of the worst 5 BSG episodes ever.

The show is really not Battlestar Galatica...the show is really Base Star X, because w/o the Cylons the show founders. What was the point of this episode:

Adama projects like a Cyclon or Baltar all day. Hmm OK, thanks for sharing.

Adama and Laura 'like' each other.... no *Expletive Implied* Sherlock! We got that from the flashback to Baltar's inauguration party 4 episodes ago...and the constant flirting since she got back to the fleet.

Being shot out an airlock is good couples counseling. Of course this will yet to be seen, as the chiefs marriage can still go to pot, and the actress that plays his wife is no es buena, in her craft.

Oh yeah and the biggest point of this episode is to reference the tantalizing glint of the Trial of Baltar. When the best thing about the episode is the potential of something happening Sometime in the future...there is a problem.

The Original BSG where the Galatica was under attack and a huge fire broke out on the ship was better than this episode, by a long shot....even with a kid and a midget in a robotic dog suit.

I know a lot of people hate that Lost will often focus on the interpersonal/back story of characters...but at least with Lost the acting and the writing are interesting.

Not so for BSG....the show needs to focus on plot...the characters shine as vessels of the plot...alas not on their own.

Hmm, people have been pretty harsh about the last couple of "filler" episodes. Overall, I've enjoyed them, although I think I tend to be a more "casual" viewer of the show as opposed to Lost. I'm a little surprised they basically completely avoided advancing the Baltar trial plot with this episode though. Heck, Baltar and Six weren't in this episode at all and they're by far the strongest characters.

I hadn't watched this show since mid Season 2 and after watching this one I think dropping the show appears to have been a good idea.

Yeah, the concensus around the office this morning was a big yawn for the filler episode. Seeing the previews for next week, we're hoping that the drama with Tyro and his wife is the real catalyst for the upcoming 'mutiny'.

Well, you have missed the Second Exodus and depending on when left you've all missed the Pegasus, Ressurection Ship and the Captain's Hand. IMO some of the best episodes of the series.

And I kinda liked Blackbird aswel. And I'm probably missing a few others.

And I haven't seen this one yet.
