Blast to hades!! This has been a excellent run of Sci Fic at its best.!!!

And a great Humble Thanks, to the other watchers who already saw the ending from SkyOne, and other..ahem, sources. For not spoiling the premise for others who have not seen it at all.

Notice that they've made a point of stating how the prophecy repeats.

So maybe this isn't a reimagining at all, but a sequel, several thousands of years later, if not an entirely different incarnation of the universe itself.

Go figure.

Okay, I'm just blown away. That was pretty damn cool. It also enforces a few ideas I came up with when the miniseries started. Very, very anxious to see the finale...

I loved the episode--a lot--but one thing threw me.

Did I miss some past indication of attraction between Starbuck and Baltar, or did the sex scene really come out of nowhere? I mean, sure, she has some serious issues and was using Baltar as a surrogate for Lee Adama, but still, it seemed pretty out of left field. I'd always gotten the impression that she didn't like him very much.

Other than that, though, thumbs way up. The design of the Cylon base-star--ahem, excuse me, base ship --was worth the price of admission alone (so to speak). Damn, but that's a menacing looking vessel.

They've had a lot of playful banter between them during the poker matches... I guess it's an "opposites attract" kinda thing.

I'd definitely picked up an attraction between them. This surprised me a little since it didn't have any lead in, but the fact they were in bed did not.

#6 had definitely mentioned her before on a couple of occasions in a catty way, especially after their poker matches - the first one included a very flirtatious moment with Baltar. Involving a cigar, no less.
