[Bo9S] Jade Phoenix mage ouchies

WotC's bitch
I just realised that all JPMs (except those who took sorc levels, HAW HAW) will eventually be able to get both quickened true strike AND diamond nightmare blade, should they choose to do so.

Ouch!

Hey, aren't you that munchkin who played a Swordsage with DNB and a special custom item that gave you Quickened true strike like 1/day?

Heh I don't... but I had an interesting idea to use Warblade and Warmage together... :) Dunno how it would work out in practice but I LOVE the idea of being able to EXPLODE every week :D TOO darn coool, definately going to start statting something up for my next character.

Cheers,
E

Well, that was after spending 30,000 gp and buttering up the DM. This is, like, without having to butter up the DM, mang!

Sorcs can do that as well :) They just need to take the Metamagic Specialist Variant from PHB2, allows them to use Metamagic effects without increasing casting time 3 +int bonus/day.

"That spell grease is so broken!"

But seriously, 30k gp vs. a feat (Quicken Spell), at least three levels of 1/2 BAB, d4 hp, and poor skills, and two Initiator Levels. At 20th level, the 30k gp looks cheap, no?

PS: Before someone points out that most Wizards would take Quicken Spell anyway, this particular feat will be less useful for the JPM than most Wizards, because he'll hopefully have some other things to do with his Swift or Immediate actions each round.
