(OOC: Yup, off to bed after she checks the library. Also, now that Allie's a cloistered cleric, I suppose I could ask for Lore checks about all of the key elements so far (the amulet, its two halves, the lord, etc) )

On first sight the study (not library) holds mostly furniture and a couple of bookcases.
Books in the bookcases cover a wide array of subjects, from botany and history to picture books and stories. There are no titles that trigger you in regard to your current situation (such as books concernign amulets, druids, etc).

After you have talked for a short while you decide it is time to take a look at the bedrooms. You ring the small bell which Dunbar pointed out and not short thereafter a servant knocks on the door. She enters rigth after that "Yesssir" While keeping her eyes to the floor. After you explain that you wish to leave for bed she tells you to follow her as she will show you your quarters. She leaves the room to the hallway and enters the door opposite of the study in the hallway. This door leads into a hallway, about 40 feet long with several doors on the left side. At the end the hallway turns left. She shows some of you to doors in this part of the hallway and some of you to doors just around the corner (where doors are set both left and right. Another 40 feet further the hallway ends in a closed door). "These are you bedrooms sirs, and miss. I hope you will have a comfortable rest. You will be waked just before dawn as breakfast will be served." After that she bows to you and leaves after she has showed everybody thier room.
The rooms are not all to big but well furnished. Each room holds a comfortable bed, a wardrobe (empty) a small desk with a chair and a bowl of damping hot water in the desk. There are no windows in the rooms (as they are not set at the outside of the building).

This is the first time Odno has being on a saddle for any significant period of time, so he's quite tired and in need of resting the... end of his back. He briefly thanks the servant, puts the necklace containing his psicrystal hanging from some place where the diminutive construct can do what he likes the most - watching, and falls asleep as soon he hits the bed, ignoring the endles stream of "Did you see this?" "Did you notice that?" and "I heard a sound" his Observant crystal sends to his brain.

ooc: i'd say roll 2 checks: one for Lord Graven and one for the Amulet.

Eanos looks about the room briefly. Aletheia's comment about their employer strikes him as accurate, but it never hurt to be careful. He uses the bowl of water to wash off his face and hands. Then he places his haversack and his boots in easy reach of the bed and lays himself down, trusting his strong senses to wake him should there be any surprises in the night.

Thankyer. Mordik gives a quick nod to the servant and heads into his room. he notices the warm bowl of water and so rinses his face and beard. He tries to straighten his beard before heading to the bed but gives up early in vain. He takes a minute to remove his armor and then lays down on the bed with a tired sigh as he relaxes from the day.

Quarion Holimion, Elven Druid

Quarion bids the others goodnight as they leave for their rooms. He stays in the study, reading the books on the shelves for a few hours, taking particular interest in those on botany. After reading, he seats himself in a corner and trances for four hours. He comes out well before dawn and leaves the house to see Garma before breakfast. He returns to the study and reads some more, waiting to be called upon by the servant.

ooc: folks, i'll be gone untill monday. Meanwhile you guys can decide on things like marching order, watch strategy and whatnot for when you hit the road.

The next morning you are all waked by a servant. After that breakfast is served in the diner. Dunbar is present form the breakfast on, Lord Graven is nowhere to be seen.
If you all have no interruptions or questions your depart during the morning will go smoothly and uneventfull.

ooc: Eanos, Quarion and Odno have double-digit Spot skills, so IMO they should be at or near the front: Eanos and Quarion, and Odno behind them, with Aletheia. That leaves Mordik behind.

As for watching, Quarion is an elf and can watch most of the night with low light vision, and Mordik has darkvision. They should be watching at the darkest hours, while the rest of us can take the first or last watches. Odno's psicrystal also doesn't need to rest and can see in the dark (though with a range of only 40 feet)
