(OOC: Technically, we could do it in 10 if Second Watch is 6 hours and the other two are each 2 hours, but since we have to forced march to move more than right hours a day anyway, it doesn't really matter)

ooc: i take it that by now anybody who would have had objections to the marching order/rest cycle.
After the breakfast you gather your belongings and set of on the road towards the town of Dawn. As you travel on well used roads you don't encounter many problems.
After a week of travel, during the third watch, Odno hears an odd sound coming from some shrubs on the far side of the camp. He hears some disturbance in the undergrowth, as if something is moving through them.
 

"I seem to hear the movement of a sizeable creature over there" comments Odno to Mordik. "Excuse me if I mention it, but I don't know if that's normal around these locations, or if you didn't notice it, since the sound it makes is quite faint."

"Do you see something? it's still dark for me"

"No. Are you sure you heard it? I didn't heard anything. It can't be that you heard it and I didn't. It's not just. I'm the observant one."

After Odno's mention to Mordik about the sound he hears, he notices it as well, as dows Odno's psicrystal. The psycrystal estimates that the origin of the sound is about 60 feet away from the border of the campsite.

Throw initiative!

[sblock=OOC: ]Quarion only needs 4 hours of trance, but we have 12 hours of rest. So it stands to reason that he's awake for another whole watch, or perhaps half of each, or something. Since I didn't bring this up before, I'll assume he's trancing right now, but for future reference, he'll stay awake for one of the watches, probably the third, since that's when the sun rises.

What are the rules for waking up? For now I'll assume a move action to wake up, a move action to stand from prone, and a move action to arm himself with his shortbow.[/sblock]

Quarion's head snaps up. Instinctively, his hand moves for his bow and quiver. He purses his lips together, whistling for Garma, though the druid knows that his friend is probably sleeping or off hunting.

Move action to wake, move action to wield shortbow and quiver.

Mordik reacts almost instantly(22) to the noise, once he realizes it's there.

Intended actions assuming no new information:
Mordik's hand shoots to his rapier, and he draws it as his eyes fix on the underbrush the sound is coming from. He will move closer to Eanos to shake him with a hand and try to wake him with a sharp "Psst". His rapier is down to the side, but obviously he is ready to jump at anything that might come from the brush.

as RA said, waking up requires a listen check at dc 10. No alrm is raised, so the rest will keep listening at the vague noise with a -10 penalty until you hear it for now.
Mordik draws his weapon and awakens Eanos. While doing so, makes eye contact with a very large animal moving through the shrubs toward the camp.
What are Odno's intended actions?
The rest can throw initiative as well.
