Umm i hate to burst bubbles but it isnt because when she died and Faith was activated. Its because the prophesy from the Perdiegm Codex (Prophecy Girl, Season 1) was undone.

Buffy was prophesized to die and her friend (Xander) interfered. Remember. Slayers are supposed to be hush hush and she is the first to incorporate her friends and her life into slaying

Well, wasn't that the point? The prophesy couldn't be undone, and Buffy DID die?

How was the prophecy broken?

For me, personaly, I've disliked her attitude. she's seemed like a whiny spoiled selfish brat from the begining. its alleviated from time to time and doesnt seem to be bad right now. but usualy she seems to have always been going on because she's not the ceneter of attention every second even tho her sister is busy saving lives. and she's often put herself and others in danger through temper tantrums brought on by....just about anything.
Thats purely my personal opnion of course...and I have no desire to argue against any others. But you asked so I'm telling you

Perfectly valid points. That's part of her charm. Did you have a little sister? Excepting that I never had to fight demons because of her, mine was worse. One of the reasons I liked her was that she was not as suited to the life as the others, even Xander, argueably the least capable of the Scoobies had a better mind set for this from the start. The innocent bystander concept was lost at some point in the series, at least as anything less abstract than the whole world, and having her there to get in the way kind of added that back to the show. Even if she is supernatural in origin.

Mine turned out great. High School was an entirely differnt matter. She skipped school, did everyting youre not supposed to do before I did (and I'm three years older), shoplifted, ran away, and ran with all the wrong crowd.

She was much cooler than I was though.

She turned out very normal, with a stable, good life. My point was that siblings can sometimes be the worst thing to happen to a persons social life, or in the Slayers case...
