Tristan is keeping himself busy making test cuts in the air with the warforged's sword. Surprisingly it handles very similarly to his old sword!

Tonk looks around to make sure Lilf is far away. Then, whispers, "Well, maybe, they think it little odd. He stink at fighting. I hope he do good with flower."

Tonk raises an eyebrow and nods in a sage manner.

Then, he studies the back of his arm. Noticing no rash, he takes a bite from the Fell Taint.

"Ooooooh! It like hard jelly. It kind of taste like..."

Suddenly, he speaks in Mikara's voice...
"Dog corpses below.
Thought-leeches in trees above.
The dead leader smiles

This tree is a grave,
but not for...

"Whoa! Whooooa! Oooooookay!" Tonk hurls the Fell Taint's corpse into the woods, "Not eat that again."

Mikara is extremely surprised to hear her own voice coming from the half-orc's mouth, though she doesn't remember saying those words.

I am all for the short rests. By my count we will need 3. 1st one where I use my remaining majestic word on myself. 2nd one to heal up Mikara and tristan and the 3rd one to regain the use of Majestic word.

Any other suggestions?

He looks around saying "Just in case" beginning to leave the area.

Tonk's lips form a suprised "O". He wags his finger and smiles.

"I LIKE! I like much! Oh, if only you were not elf girl, then we could marry and make the smart, sneaky baby!"

Tonk scowls in disapproval. "Lilf have change of heart. He no warn lawyer about us, but I think maybe it nice if we track him and join him and help him get home. He no good at fight, and it no safe in forest."

Tonk stuffs all the warforged's belts and pouches into his duffel bag. (He'll go through them later.)

Tonk, can you link to that wish-list in your character sheet, or repost it there? I'll never remember to go back there. Also, as you're gathering up the warforged's gear, you notice that the dead halfling's boots look just like Lilf's!

As for the address, I thought I had Lilf tell you this before I started this fight, but maybe I ran out of time. Too lazy to go back and check. If I didn't say it already, ret-con it to say Lilf revealed this before he ran off: these guys were camped just down the road from here, and Jaffery contacted them by making his face appear in their campfire. They have no idea how to reach him. This means they have no way to make sure they get paid, but they took the job anyway because they're very unsuccessful bandits and they were desperate.

Lilf knows nothing about any lawyers. He was also as surprised as anyone to see the warforged and its pack of hounds arrive. The warforged was the one carrying the note with the bounty and the lawyers' address. Also, Lilf has now run off into the woods - if you want to track him down again to get him to help you, that'll be a skill challenge.

I would like to note that if you kill each other, that still counts as a failure to keep you alive.

So, what's the immediate plan? Are you going with a 15 minute rest as Dextyr suggested? And then are you tracking Lilf, or doing something else?

[sblock=OOC] I'm up for a 15 minute rest and a visit to the lawyers if the whole ressurection idea is considered a failure. Too bad. It was a good idea. Only now, we'll have to make it look like Tonk and Mikara got outvoted since she already voiced her opinion. In character, I still believe it is the option she would have preferred.[/sblock]
