STORY
Yondo was a crossbowman in the guard of a minor lord. The lord was corrupt and cruel, and his subjects rebelled against him several days ago. Underestimating the mob, the lord led a band of his soldiers (of whom Yondo was one) to put down the rebellion, but was instead killed, and most of his forces wiped out. Yondo escaped and has been on the run since, not daring to return, as the rebels are taking revenge on all of the lord's former servants and soldiers.

He is a fair hand with a crossbow, but not very bright or courageous. He is likely to fall in with the first authority figure or band who will have him and offer some sense of security.

APPEARANCE
Short, thin, fair skin, a little dirty and bruised up. Plain beige clothing under his armor.

EDIT-Oh wait, encumbrance is:
2(armor)+2(coif)+5(crossbow)+4(bolts)+1(dagger)+2(rations)

He doesn't have a lot of adventuring/camping equipment because when he ran off he wasn't prepared for any kind of long trip. They expected to put down the rebels failry quickly and return home.

Ok listed below are the four PCs submitted so far. Ive placed a few stats in places easier for me to read when I copied them, and changed some ENC's. The errata and PHB are all confusing in that they list items with their carried weight then denote some items are wearable. A "w" simply denotes it is wearable not its worn weight. So some of your ENC's have been reduced.

Sado- Ill still need your prime attribute choices

Otherwise they all look good to go.


Anyway look these over, add any equipment you wish. Anyone who doesnt have a background please add one if you wish. When satisfied put your PC in the rogues gallery thread which I wil link here a bit later.

Two things- first of all, when I drop my backpack I drop to ENC 8, right? So I can still be unencumbered during combat? Second of all (and directed to anyone who can answer) I'm pretty computer-illiterate. Is copy-and-paste the easiest way to transfer my character to the rogue's gallery? Will it stay in code-block form if I do that?

If James drops the pack, he'd lose 7 ENC which would put him at 10. Given his str he can be at 10 and be considered unencumbered. EDIT: I forgot you have stuff on the pack..so yea hed drop to 8..oops.

Maybe the easiest way to cut and paste would be to quote the PC post I put up and then copy the quote. That way you get the raw code vb code. You can then cancel the quote post and paste the copied post in the rogues gallery. I think that makes sense. :(

Here is the background for Norgim:


Since his youth, Norgim has trained to become a great champion; one that would make his fathers proud. As a member of the king’s guard, he became a proud veteran of two successful campaigns in the war against the hoard.
To reward him for his bravery, the king himself offered to him “Shields Bane,” one of the ancestral weapons of the court. Upon receipt of such a weapon, Norgim has vowed to follow the code of the champion and to evermore protect the virtue of all things good and in the best interest of the king and of the dwarven race.

Presently, he has set out to fulfill this promise on a grand mission, one that will test both his honor and his loyalty. He became an adventurer.

STORY:
 Vergart is what could be best described as a Missionary. He has appointed himself the representative of Kord and actively tries to convert the "heathen Masses" that do not know His greatness. The problem is, most of the time he converts them with Kords Will, his warhammer. He cannot seem to understand why he has gained a bit of a reputation as being violent and is shunned in most civilised areas since he's "just trying to show the way to Kords' blessed light"

Appearance:
 Vergart is fairly tall, around 5' 10", and decently muscled. He has a shock of bright tred hair that looks like it's never been combed (it hasn't) and a broad, kind face. He truly believes that Kord is the One True God and will prattle on about His greatness until the "heathen" either tells him to go away or walks away themselves.

Please check that over and let me know any needed changes.
