Change our timeline flow?

Wondering what you guys think about slowing the timeline down to one season per two months?

I am finding 1 season per month a bit fast, but that could just be me...

I find time to be racing by. Slowing things down is something I am WHOLE HEARTEDLY in favor of. I suggest that we go on a 2 months per season schedule as Emiricol has suggested to see how that goes.

We could slow things down, which is fine... I do like though that we can orchestrate long term ideas in a realatively realistic time. Also, this way characters can expect to age. If a player plays for a year their character ages 4 years. A teenager could become an adult, a fortress aided with magic can be built, a village could spring up, etc. If we slow down we do lose some of that ability, which is a really cool aspect of our game world, and a unique aspect of it.

I would be fine if we slowed things down, but I would rather not. I'd like to keep things the way they are.

I would suggest the we change it to maybe 2 months a real-time month. I know this ruins the idea of seasons, but still keeps the game-to-real time moving at a decent pace. While I like the idea if 1 season/2 months, it is basically real time. I think that's something we should avoid right now.

So that's... one season each 6 weeks. That gives a little more leeway. I can deal with that. Less than what I'd like, but more than we have now :)

I'll write it up tonight for posting tomorrow :) Unless someone else would like to write it up and post here so I can cut and paste :)
