Classic 3.0 [FULL]

Master Curran

First Post
Hey, I will be starting a campaign of 3rd edition. The campaign will be very classic, Greyhawk setting and pretty much only the core rulebooks with orc bashing and dungeon crawling. I think a game like this will be kind of refreshing. If you want in here are specs for your characters.

-phb races only
-1st lvl
-phb classes for first lvl
-nothing different from core rulebooks unless i approve

I am very cheap so i only have the core rulebooks, whenever i feel like using something else i just borrow one of my friends books. This means that to use anything different you will have to ask me and get it specifically approved.

Post what kind of character you want to play here, i will be taking the first four people.

sure, I'll play

I'll most likely be a wizard or sorcerer unless you're using 3.5 classes, in which case mabye a druid. But in any case it will be a spell caster.

Do you need anything much more specific about the characters?

Ok there is your mage. Whoever wants to play i encourage you to form a pretty classic party as that is the theme of this campaign. for instance you guys could have your mage, a melee fighter, a theif, and an elvish archer

Okay, I'll be a Half-Orc Cleric even though cleric isn't on the list. ;) Are we using the point buy option for making characters?

I'll add in a Human Paladin if that's alright?

Have only 3.0 rules, so I'll post my char and hopefully if it passes your "ok", you can tell me what I need to change?

(And the creation format?)

Dunathar was a member of the clan Steelhammer, a proud family of miners and artisans, living embodyment of the most pure dwarven way of life: hard work, respect for elders, and loyalty to the clan. Dunathar turned to be the family´s black sheep; though talented, his capacities were oriented to the wrong kind of things. That things were, well, himself. As he grew up, his distaste for the clan´s laws did the same: not that he thinks they are stupid or not useful, following them blindly is. This kind of personal philosophy finally clashed with te rest of the clan and he was stripped from his family name and exiled. Now, he sees a way to amass as much money as he can, with the secret hope of being allowed back if he becomes rich enough.

Dunathar looks like your typical dwarf, except for the lack of heavy armor and weapons and that he carefully trimmers his black beard and tries to show as much wealth as possible -currently none, though-
