CoC: Delta Green. I need some info

I've learned to be more then a little cautious regarding Pagan release dates. Nothing personal against what those guys produce...huge fan and all, but I've got a 'I'll see it when I see it' attitude towards their production schedule. :\

And the overwhelming majority is non-rules information - various organisations, both real and fictional, history, more details on certain Mythos threats, and more. IIRC, the only rules in the book involved a small number of spells, gun stats, and the rules information in the three included information. So you should be able to use this with pretty much any game system you want.
Exactly. If you've got folks convinced to play Delta Green, I wouldn't even wait for the reprinted and d20-fied book to come out -- just log onto Ebay or Amazon, buy the BRP book, and play it with whatever system you want. It's not really the kind of book where system matters very much, if at all.

And Delta Green doth verily rock. It easily displaced Dark•Matter as my favorite modern setting, and that was only 20-30 pages into the DG book. I still think Dark•Matter is tres cool, but no other modern setting holds a candle to DG, IMO.

One of the most compelling arguments for Delta Green I've seen is from the FAQ: " In addition to Lovecraft himself, Delta Green tends to associate itself most closely with Ramsey Campbell and Robert Chambers, and least closely, in many ways, with August Derleth and Brian Lumley."

Bravo!

With good reason: their website, last updated June 2003, cheerfully announces the imminient release of the DG d20 hardcover.

It's a hard setting not to accidentally spoil. Just about every plot element is hidden behind layers of obfuscation and misdirection. Really just discussing anything more then 'the players are members of a government conspiracy' could be considered a spoiler. Even mentioning DG in conjunction with CoC could be considered a spoiler. So it seems like it is a talk about it or...don't sort of situation really.

Woah! Somehow I missed the Eos news. That's fantastic.

Well, it would be, but that "status bar" has been at 95% complete for a long time.

As others have said (and implied), I'll believe it when it's actually in my hand.

**Edit:

I just checked the Wayback Machine. That status bar was at 95% a year ago (July 7, 2004).

Sigh.
