Craft Contingency spell uses (Complete Arcane)

I plan on picking up Craft contingency spell at 12th level for my wizard.

I was wondering if anyone else has thought of ideas to apply to this craft.

I know things could get sick and ubered up but that is not a path I wish to travel so try to keep ideas sane.

Here Are things I am thinking

Cures to keep people out of the negatives in Hpts.

Prot from evil triggered by charms and dominates

true strike for when you just have to hit triggered by a word or gesture.

Feather fall for when your falling

Dispel magic triggered by a word or gesture a get out of jail free sort of card

Freedom of movement when applicapable.


Our cleric archer will get arrow mind and arrow storm (Complete Adventurer)

I was also thinkingof a set of buffs with some transportation like a teleport spell that would be designed to trigger at once and get soemone strong enough to run away. Like shield, greater mage armor, stone skin, haste, mirror image, bark skin, shield of faith etc designed as a last ditch defense

Any other ideas?



Highlights of craft conitngency is it operates like a contingency spell mostly, is centered on user, each person can have up to hit dice spells on them, cost is Caster level X spell level X 100gp so basically double a potions cost. No real restrictions to the spells placed in or the triggers.

Anti Magic field is a possibility as a last ditch effort since It nueters my character he might not like that idea too much.

If I remember right you can have one per hit dice active on a person/target.

On the other hand a fighter with an admantine weapon and/or armor will love you forever if you keep putting contingency(antimagic field) on them.
 

Resilient Sphere is fun for a spellcaster - on yourself - elect to fail your save and it is really hard to hurt you until you get rid of it or port out of it (you did prepare Dimension Door, right?) - and anyone else getting rid of it will either take a quickened spell or a standard action to do so. Also useful on the rest of your party for when they get too low on HP's and need to sit out on the rest of the fight. Make it something that is an anytime action (e.g., attempting to shout "Help!" - the word "Attempting" is important in there - lets you activate when silenced, pinned and prevented from speaking, gagged, underwater, et cetera) and you can do it whenever, even if it isn't your turn, to protect yourself.
 

Well we do have a warforged fighter with adamantine weapons I could anit-magic field. Its an idea.

Resilient field is a possibility as well. I want some good last ditch ideas since it is not a cheap crafting for a one use item.

I wanted ideas for last ditch life saving spells. Since to do a lot of other stuff may be abusive and I try to avoid doing that sort of thing. To prevent any escalation or arms race with the GM.
