Custom divine abilities, portfolios, etc.

I can't recall, but assuming so, then yes it could work, provided you have those other powers as prerequisites.

What page are said abilities on? Also Im not sure if Improved Avatar should be Transcendent or take half your slots or whatever since Multidimesional (a trans) gives you an extra manifestation which seems a lot better than your avatar being one status higher.

BTW here's one more:

Uncanny Mobility (divine)
Prerequisites: Dex 40, Dodge, Epic Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack
Benefit: You can move up to your speed and make a full attack in the same round.
Normal: You can only make 1 attack if you move more than a 5 foot step in the round.
 

I personally use an Epic Feat called Perfect Spring Attack that requires SA plus the two additional Spring Attack feats from the PHB2.

Seriously, the ability to move and full attack should not be kept from fighters until level 50+. It's really not that overpowered.

I thought Dire Charge covered that anyway?
 

Only on a charge (and RAW, only on the first round of combat, but who pays attention to that anyway? Stupid 3.0 fossil-rules).

My Perfect Spring Attack, as worded, actually reduces a Full Attack to a Standard Action, which opens up a whole lot more opportunities. (It does have hefty pre-reqs, though, so Double Standards is still a decent alternative to take before it becomes available, or for character who can't afford to go up the full SA tree.)
 


Now that I think about it maybe Know Alignment should be a epic feat since there are epic feats that allow you to see the person's ability scores.

Perspicacity (epic or divine)?
Prerequisites: 25 or 40 int
Benefit: when ever you gain xp you gain 10% more than the listed amount

Ex Nihilio (transcendental ability)
Prerequisites: 130 ranks in any craft skill
Benefit: you craft items (magical or mundane) or constructs without any materials, therefore there is also no monetary cost (xp cost still applies)

I suspect this forum's traffic is anchored around me actually having a release every now and again. So don't be too put off by the current quiet. I certainly don't begrudge anyone - in fact I would half encourage them (you could argue I have been encouraging them by my tardiness, though that is unitentional I assure everyone).

I think its interesting to weigh the strengths and weaknesses of how I designed the Ascension Portfolios. Even in hindsight I am not sure how I would have done them differently. Thats not to say they are perfect, far from it. But I think they perfectly match the 3rd edition model.

Perhaps it would have been nice to completely integrate the Divine/Cosmic etc. Abilities with the Portfolios so that each Portfolio had its own unique abilities.

Also maybe they are a touch formulaic in design, but I think that helps other DMs to design their own.
