Custom divine abilities, portfolios, etc.

Ruining {Effect} (Divine Ability)

Ruining {Effect} (Divine Ability)
Benefit: You gain an effect reducing the hardness of objects by 1 point per six HD of the immortal (for example a lesser deity 60 hd taking ruining breath would gain a breath weapon reducing the hardness of objects in the aoe by 2 points) objects reduced to less than 0 hardness in this manner crumble to dust and are destroyed

Divine Skill Focus (Divine Ability)
Prerequisites: 40 ranks in relevant skill, skill focus, epic skill focus
Benefit: You gain a bonus to the skill equal to twice your divine rank

Cosmic Skill Focus (Cosmic Ability)
Prerequisites: 70 ranks in relevant skill, skill focus, epic skill focus, divine skill focus
Benefit: You bonus in the skill is doubled

Personally, I'd increase the benefit from Divine Skill Focus to (10+Divine Rank)x2.

I'm a little confused by the wording of Cosmic Skill Focus. Is it doubling your total bonus, including synergies, etc. as in the Legendary [Attributes]? If so, does it also increase the bonus that such skills would give as synergies to other skills?

A couple of abilities for the diabolically minded...

Devil Lord (Divine Ability)
Prerequisites: Spiritual Ancestry (Lawful Evil), Profane Lord, Wis 40
Benefit: You gain the Arch-Devil template (Dicefreaks, The Gates of Hell XIII).

Lord of the Nine (Cosmic Ability)
Prerequisites: Spiritual Ancestry (Lawful Evil), Profane Lord, Devil Lord, Int or Wis or Cha 70
Benefit: You gain the Lord of the Nine template (Dicefreaks, The Gates of Hell IX).

As said in

It makes your total bonus double i.e if you had say +80 concentration it would make it +160. As for synergy bonus I guess it would (bonus is normally +2 right?)

According to Deities and Demigods, Deities get an additional +2 synergy bonus for every 20 ranks they have in a skill. I guess what I'm essentially asking is this - the ability only increases the deity's bonus, not their ranks, right?

Cosmic Fortitude
Prerequisites: fort save +70, Great Fortitude, Good Fortitude
Benefit: Your base fortitude save bonus is equal to your HD (instead of half or 1/3 like normal)

Cosmic Reflex
Prerequisites: ref save +70, Lightning Reflexes, Good Reflex
Benefit: Your base reflex save bonus is equal to your HD (instead of half or 1/3 like normal)

Cosmic Will
Prerequisites: will save +70, Iron Will, Good Will
Benefit: Your base will save bonus is equal to your HD (instead of half or 1/3 like normal)

note: if you use these I would make them prerequisites for transilient fort/ref/will respectively

divine or cosmic?

Omniweaponized
Prerequisites: bab +40 or +70?
Benefit: All weapons are treated as the deities favored weapon.

Impermeable
Benefit: You are immune to weapons with an enchantment bonus of less than your divine rank (for example a greater deity taking this ability would be immune to weapons of +15 or lower enchantment)

Vicious Opportunist (cosmic ability)
Prerequisites: dex 70, combat reflexes
Benefit: You can make a full attack when ever you make an attack of opportunity.

cosmic or transcendental?

Isotropic
Benefit: Any area effects you use hit everyone in your divine aura (for example, a greater diety with a 3000 foot radius divine aura casting Cone of Cold would hit everyone within a 3000 foot radius rather then in a 50 foot cone
special: the effect does NOT hurt the user

Omniweaponized almost seems like it could be covered in fluff. If you need to assign it a spot to take up, an epic feat with the prerequisite of being Immortal could cover it.

Impermeable would be good as a Cosmic Ability, as long as it had the entire Divine series of abilities for Damage Reduction and Weaponbreaking as its prerequisites.

Vicious Opportunist is good.

Isotropic is a little hard to judge, but offhand, I'd say it's Cosmic.

Cosmic Fortitude, Reflex, and Will seem okay.

I've mainly been poking around Dicefreaks and I might post a few adapted abilities from there. Otherwise, I'm working on templates, for the most part - other alignment adaptions of Duke of Hell, Arch-devil, Lord of the Nine; Cimerial, Nosferatu, Vorcolac (sp?), Welkin, etc. That will probably go pretty slowly, especially since I'm waiting for Krusty to release his Vampire Bestiary.

Ok thanks. What about Perspicacity and Ex Nihlio? Also what is the difference between arch devil and lord of the nine (guessing only the ruler of Hell has lord of the nine)

Perspicacity seems fine as a Divine Ability. In that way, it might be fitting for a sub-epic mortal to possess it as an esoteric ability.

Ex Nihilio just seems... I dunno', off as a Transcendental ability. It would probably feel better as a Cosmic Ability with several Divine Crafting abilities as prerequisites.

Both Archdevil and Lord of the Nine are templates covered in 'The Gates of Hell' from Dicefreaks, and both are handed out to various devils, fallen celestials, or epic mortals directly from the Ruler of Hell, Asmodeus. Archdevils are usually outcasts that are afforded some station as long as they support the cause of Lawful Evil. A Lord of the Nine is the appointed ruler of one of the layers of Hell - only Asmodeus has the power to strip them of their godlike power.

One of the most famous (infamous) challenges in epic D&D is the Iron Siege, an attempt to take down the second Lord of the Nine, Dispater, when he is hiding in his Iron Tower.

Edit:
Also, UK, is it possible for you to give us the traits you had in mind for Elementars, Zoas, and Intelligibles, that you mentioned in the Dimensional Ancestry divine ability? Or at least some clues towards creating them?
