[D&D 3.5] War of the Burning Sky [OOC] [Closed]

I'm going to be travelling for work this week coming up. I may not really have Internet access for the next seven days. Or maybe I will. Either way, I'll definitely be back the following week.

NP thanks for the heads up, but can you answer the question about starting at max HP or not before reaching the lake with the burning stag?

Ok I need to know if I - HolyMan - am following this correctly.

The seela sing the song to keep Indomitably in the form of a fire stag or it will escape. This "fire form" is currently at the bottom of a lake were anyone can see it. Now the male seela just said that if they stopped singing they would all die. And I-dom (ok I hate trying to spell all that :p) said we can't escape the fire forest till he is free.

So freeing him isn't the answer in anyway. Either by diplomatically asking them to stop singing allowing him to be free. Or killing this "fire form" thus breaking him out of it that way.

What I'm saying is the seela are making the form and once they either stop sing or the form is destroyed. Either way I-dom escapes and all the seela die.

Is there something else we need to do a third option and now here is my true dilemma Would Shaylir think of all this like I am? Or would she tag along and just try and save the seela by "killing the monster".

What a pickle (Can't wait to run this one). :D

HolyMan Answered in the IC thread. It's just easier somehow. Short version, yes, Indomitability keeps both the fire burning and everything alive despite being on fire for 40 years.

And Indomitablity wants us to free him, but we can't do that until we can find a way to free him without killing everything in the forest.

Indomitability isn't concerned with everything in the forest, and doesn't see why you should be, either.

"Because we aren't biggie meannie monsters like Indomitability." Shaylir says in a huff.

Sorry, she is a little upset we may have to hurt someone to get through this and she is having a hard time with it.
