The old man looks as if he's trying to wrap his head around the story. "Forgive me," he says. "I know it ain't my business, but who is it that you don't want seein' you? The folks here in Thorndale got plenty else to worry about, what with the animals spilling outta the forest and all. Animal attacks have been poppin' up all over; that wasn't the first bear to come outta them hills."
Ike pauses for a second, reflecting. "'Twas the first two-headed giant to speak of, though."
[sblock=Perception 20]While Ike does seem perfectly likeable and honest now that he's not trying to run you off of his land, something does seem to be off. Not with Ike, but with the environment itself, the layout of the land, and the general overall atmosphere. Perhaps it's a bit too unfamiliar?
[sblock=Nature 20]Indeed, now that you look you can tell that this certainly isn't Ironfell. The mountains are too far back in the horizon (Ike did say things were coming out of the hills), and the air is a bit heavier. the foliage is thicker, greener. Yes, you are definitely closer to the coast than Ironfell. A lot closer.[/sblock][/sblock]
