Aw gee. I hope I can do justice to all your praise, and serve you well. If I haven't said it enough, I really like this party, and I think we're going to have a good time with what I do have planned.

I tend to like harrowing psychological horror more than out-and-out gore. A little more Ravenloft, a little less Resident Evil. Thoughtful, slow-building horror rather than the loud, shrieking blood-everywhere kind-- although the latter has its place, don't get me wrong. Also I'm easily startled by loud noises, so...

[MENTION=6776473]Pembinasa[/MENTION] and everyone else: The Cant is Sigilian slang (mostly based on 19th century London slang). It's something we can forego with frequent translations if people don't enjoy it, but I do feel like there's something of a rite of passage to be had in guessing at it in-character.

Actually, that makes Sigilian fairly understandable, I just wasn't picking up on it I guess. But the last set of vocab along with this epiphany, should help it be without issue I am sure. So lay on MacDuff.

Speaking of speaking in gibberish, my apologies for the physics double entendres, but as I started with the Chaos/Law the entropy/enthalpy jokes were just too hard to resist.

I'm just imagining my char poking at both sides with a mage hand going 'Stop it! Talk normal already!" Especially on Ozy, because at least Eurid's got an excuse.

That said, I'm still having fun with it! More fun without the glossary to my mind, but to each their own; it doesn't help our PCs understand him any easier.

That may be an explanation, but that doesn't mean it's an excuse! *snerk* Besides, it's not as if anyone else knows he's a bard, obvious exception of Lili aside.

That said, @Fenris, it's rather looking like your guy's descended into mindreading, as none of that god-king business was actually said out loud. Please do edit appropriately? If somebody's detecting Graydon's thoughts, then I'm going to want my saving throw against it.

Yes, Greydon's reference was thought, but Eurid said it out loud. So Oz was not responding to Greydon's thoughts as much as what he said which was "Did anybody besides the faun understand that? They're playing their little slang-games again, and I could use an interpreter." So Oz did interpret what Eurid said, and he addressed Eurid's entire speech, not the one part that Greyson merely thought about. So I do not feel that Oz exhibited any form of mind reading and so do not feel any editing is needed.

And I do hope you merely forgot to insert a smilie face into your last sentence, as without it, it denotes a very disturbing lack of trust with your fellow players, and a certain defensiveness that is unseemly if it was meant in earnest and not tongue-in-cheek.

I think there may have been some confusion as to what was in the thought-bubbles as opposed to the speech bubbles. Perhaps, for future reference, use a different color or font to indicate what the character is thinking vs. what the character is saying.

I use italics when my PC is thinking, and colored font when he is speaking aloud.
