Just so you know, the vatican statement I heard was a fake, because The man does not exist and exorcist are supposed to keep their job secret. The only thing I have heard the Catholic Church say about Harry potter is that it is too humanistic, and teaches a "what's in it for me" morality.
Anyway, it is too bad that people think D&D is a thing of the past, then again maybe no press is better than horrible press.
