Mythic Odysseys of Theros may have been delayed until the end of July for most of us, but Fantasy Grounds has revealed some (undoubtedly specially approved) previews for us to look at in the meantime!
Were the gods in the original cards and part of the setting there or created for the RPG?
Nope.Oh. I had assumed you were speaking with some kind of knowledge of Theros and it’s design/ creation...
They’ve been part of Magic for years, cards and fiction
Thanks.Yeah, from the cards: the real point is for fully-owned by WotC IP in the card art:
Thanks.
Like Morrus I have never really Magic-ed.
I keep thinking about getting this book, and if I do I want to walk in largely blind so I can write a review based on what I learn in the book rather than what I already know. But poor financies are likely rendering that debate moot.

Don't forget how in the Revolutionary War(British) and Civil War, people would legit just stand in front of each other, fire, die, then March forward a bit more to repeat the whole bloody process because that's how you "Gentlemanly" fight a war.And in WWI there was a big debate on whether using a parachute was considered dishonorable and thus a pilot should go down with his ship (the biplane.) Napoleonic rank and file maneuvers have also fallen out of favor for not being practical.
I don't want to get into the details of my crap life or derail this thread... again... but things are unlikely to change and what I'm dealing with now is my "new normal".Times are tough, focus on you and yours first. The book will still be around as things change.
Crashing through the sky, comes the fearful cryD&D fantasy version of Cobra, the G.I.Joe's archenemies
...I might pick up Theros in a year or two when Amazon has a deep discount.
