Mythic Odysseys of Theros may have been delayed until the end of July for most of us, but Fantasy Grounds has revealed some (undoubtedly specially approved) previews for us to look at in the meantime!
The minotaur lowers its head at the last moment. Thus, it is only very briefly exposed. That in a real fight is too dangerous and riskt, because the head is too low...
normally don’t look at credits but I did look for Emi Tanji who usually does layout and graphic design. She’s not mentioned on this one so I wonder what book she is working?
Loving the monster and magic item previews - looks like lots of them will be easily usable in any game, or if a DM wants to give an area a Greek feel. I'm not terribly familiar with the setting, but it looks like most of those deities could (presumably with some tinkering) be fairly easily converted back to their original Greek inspirations, as I'm seeing some fairly familiar spheres of influence there...

Not all IPR is about making direct money off a thing. Band-Aid, Xerox and other brands regularly send letters to the media to ask them to use the generic names to protect their IP.Why did they not use the original Greek deities? Because they want to claim IPR on these? I don't think they are easily going to make money from them.

All of these new pantheons are becoming annoying. I miss the old Greek gods.
