Damn you Websense!

Well, it finally happened. Somehow, "they" got wise to my lunch-time shenanigans, and ENWorld has been filtered by Websense, and I can't browse it at work anymore.

It sucks, and it will cut down considerably on the time I can spend here, much to my dismay, since I spent most of my lunch time on ENWorld. ARGH!

I'm not even going to try circumventing it, I wouldn't want to lose my job over this.

Bleh.

See you all a lot less!

I experienced this same dilemma when I started working at my current job about two years ago. For the first two months or so I had free reign of ENworld, wizards.com, etc while on break or lunch. Then one day ENworld was suddenly inaccessible. One by one game sites I would go to became locked behind a firewall. Now they are all gone from my grasp, well almost all, the rpg.net forums never seem to go away. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Shame on you for having fun during your lunch hour. That is unacceptable. You will now be punnished.

Seriously though, why don't you just go talk to the people who made this decision, explain to them that you only hit the site on your own time, and ask them to unblock it? Companies that treat adults like children really :):):):) my :):):):) right the :):):):) off!

SSSUUUUCCCKKKK, is there anyone you can talk to about this? Do they have a public computer you can use on your lunch hour. I assume you have a PC at your desk or something.

I fear for that day...95% of all my posting is on break at work. They seem more interested in racy sites though, like Fark, SomethingAwful, etc...

Was it really during your lunch time heh? Or is your lunch time from 9AM to 6 PM? :p

In any case, there must have been people abusing the Internet for companies using such procedures.

At lest, since I am working home, I don't fear this ever happens...
