Dark Age of Camelot

You know Devyn, I'm sure that I've seen that group of rocks that you're talking about. I see a hole on the opposite side, but I can't enter. Is there a trick to entering that I'm not doing. I've tried just walking into the hole hoping that it would act like the gates at the castles, but it doesn't.

There isnt any trick that I know of.

Just make certain that you get a new task from the "Taskmaster' before you enter. Also, the ID's are level based, so once you're 11th lv the one at Cotswald wont work for you, instead you will have to go to Pryd Keep.

The only thing that I can think of is that I was partnered with someone else last night. He was the team leader and got the quest. I don't think he ever tried to go in, after I couldn't. Maybe because he was the party leader and received the quest, he had to be the first to go in. I don't know.

Thanks for all of your help, though.

Just a quick update. The "Instanced Dungeons" are working great, and when I'm soloing are really pretty profitable and fun for low level characters. If I'm careful, I don't have to worry about multiple monsters jumping me like out in the wild. I also am really enjoying the Roman Aqueducts. Most of the Plutonian "characters" respawn. With ranged attacks, you can pull them right to you and not have to worry about the higher levels. All in all, this game is a blast. Just wanted to let you know that everything was working and thank all of you again for your help.

I'm glad your having fun Ragnar.

DAOC is a really great game and Catacombs made it a whole lot better, especially for new players. This is particularly true if play to enjoy the game and not play to beat it.

Then again, that's true about almost every game.
