End Round 2 (almost)

As Derrenil watches from the shadows, Gar leaps over the boulder with arms. The totem warriors claws rip again at the elemental as the huge creature swats missing Gar as he is in the air. But once he lands again behind the beast Gar is right where the walking avalache can reach him. Both arms circle out wide and then come together as if trying to clap, it is to bad for Gar that he is caught between the rock hard hands. Seilg charging in (and gets kicked at for his troubles but it doesn't stop him) and hears the "THUMP" of the massive clap, along with what sounds like the cracking of bones. Ignoring the chilling sound, he slashes at the elemental's leg the raiper "winks" out and passes through the leg but the dagger buries itself deep. The elemental doesn't notice at all. Telos let's out a blast of the magic from within him hardly needing to aim at something so large. The blast digs a furrow into the rock hide and causes it to stumble, but that wasn't the effect Telos was looking for it seems the creature wasn't cowed by the blast like the sorcerer wanted. Derrenil decides now is the time to act.

Ouch!! what a difference one roll can make if that wasn't a crit Gar takes only 22pts but with the crit it jumps to 47 (which reminds me I will not be using death do to massive damage as this is a one shot game)

If she was to complete her mission, it seems that she would be forced into action.

She quickly intones a prayer to her patron, infusing herself with additional strength that will hopefully overcome the resistance this elemental has presented.

Somewhat nonplussed by the ineffectiveness of his first attack, Seilg nevertheless proves his courage as he dives back in to the beast. His fine point work with the rapier is lost on the creature as he once again flickers ethereal just as he strikes. His Katar drives home again, but the doughty Dwarf grunts in frustration - the elemental is barely scratched even though he put his full strength behind the blow!

Telos frowns to himself, letting loose another blast of eldritch power infused with the fright of the Fey realms, or of the infernal Abyss... someday Telos would figure out the source of his arcane talents... but now wasn't really the time.

The eldritch power blasted another chunk of rock away from the massive behemoth, though only time would tell if the secondary affect took place as well.

Gar quickly shakes off the extreme pounding from the elemental. He's had worse before...

The beast-man snarls and leaps up onto the elemental using the Soaring Raptor Strike, clawing and ripping out a chunk of its rocky body!

IC is down (I'm kinda thinking "thank goodness"), so I need you to roll for me HM.

Using Soaring Raptor Strike as a Standard action. Make a Jump check (+28) against a larger-size enemy's AC (if the Jump check fails, maneuver and attack are wasted). It's Huge, so this works fine. Then attack, +15 with an extra +4 on the roll, total bonus +19 for 1d4+8+6d6 damage.

And I'm going to have to switch to Full Attacks...

Gar AC 22 HP 66/128.
Essentia: 4 in Girallon Arms, 1 in Lammasu Mantle.

The dark elf darts out of the shadows, drawing her shortsword from its black leather scabbard.

She rapidly closes the distance between herself and rocky monstrosity, still slightly unsure why she was doing this.

She slashes outwards with her weapon, wondering if the added acidity on the blade would pierce the rock-creatures body.

Move 20' to the east, to get within melee range of Elemental, use tumble+8 if necessary to avoid any AoO. Due to mobility, AC for AoO is 29.

+11 to hit (with flank bonus already included, 1d6+3 +1d6(acid) dmg.

Dodge is still against Elemental, so AC is 25.

End Round 3

After suffering at the stone fists of the elemental Gar fights on. He leaps atop the back of the creature and starts ripping into the rocky hide, as if he were digging a hole in the ground. His eyes set on the creatures back he fails to notice as both huge "arms" swing around and connect with him at the same time. Their combined force strong enough to hurls the warrior off the creatures back and sailing into a nearby column. Gar slumps to the ground again bruised by the creatures onslaught. Meanwhile both Seilg and Derrenil fail to do more than scratch the creature, and Telos blackens the stone near the monsters head causing not only a little more damage but he also notices a quiver shudder through it's body. Bolstered the group continues to struggle for their lives.

@ Gar: Sorry buddy won't have attack you had you not been on his back "digging holes" lol you start next turn prone in the square you are in so a reminder. Standing from prone is a move action that does provoke AoO and the creature has a 15' reach not a good combo lol [sblock]

Since Ghost Touch weapons count as both Corporeal and Incorporeal the Blink shouldn't matter - it would eliminate Seilg's miss chance. Moot point, though, as I didn't think to pick up any . . . :.-(

Actually, I don't think I could have afforded them even if I'd thought of it. That ring is blinking expensive![/sblock]
