Really? Interesting. I'm also using large weapons (bugbear); I wonder if that makes a difference.
I just made one.

Bugbear Rogue, Ruthless Ruffian (Cutthroat Rogue) Level 1
Str: 16
Con: 13
Dex: 18
Int: 8
Wis: 10
Cha: 14

Feat: Backstabber
Powers: Disheartening Strike, Sly Flourish, Termination Threat (Rattling), Precise Incision.

I took a Large Mace and you are correct, it doesn't calculate the attacks correctly. Then I swapped in a regular Mace and everything calculates fine, both as a two-handed weapon and single-handed. And it also adds the strength to Rattling attacks per the Ruthless Ruffian rogue tactics.

I wonder if this is because the Bugbear, as a PC class, won't be able to use Large Weapons like the Minotaur? Who knows. It's the only race listed that allows Large Weapons (as a MM racial option.)

Note, creating a Bugbear PC won't be the norm, as the MM stats are mostly intended as NPC races.

DMG said:
In general, these traits and powers are provided to help Dungeon Masters create nonplayer characters (NPCs). This information can also be used as guidelines for creating player character (PC) versions of these creatures, within reason. Note that these traits and powers are more in line with monster powers than with player character powers.

A player should use one of the following races to create a character only with the permission of the Dungeon Master. The DM should carefully consider which monster races, if any, to allow as PCs in his or her campaign.

Maybe that's why the Large weapon calculation isn't working right? They will give us a Bugbear as PC racial writeup soon?

EDIT: Did you try to "Submit a bug" on this one yet?
EDIT 2: I just swapped in a Large Dagger, and this worked just fine. It seems only the Large Mace and Large Club aren't working. I wonder if it is because the calculator is only looking for "Mace" or "Club" as a valid weapon to use (per Ruthless Ruffian) and doesn't recognize the "Large Mace" or "Large Club". It seems like a fairly trivial bug. I'll submit it as a bug and let them know.

Actually, I am not sure anymore.

Isn't it something like you get the issue one month prior to your subscription start date and the access to all the freebie issues put out before it went subscription?

EDIT: Ninja'd by Shroomy! <dangit!>

Nope. One of my players just subscribed this month, and he got access to all PDF's. He bought a year's sub though, I do not know if that makes a difference.

My what a self-fulfilling attitude. :)
It's just a fact of software development. There are far too many moving parts that are constantly being fiddled with to ever make a non-trivial product that is 100% bug free. Which isn't to say there aren't degrees of buginess, but it's impossible to test every possible permutation unless the input space is very, very small.

But, I've been very annoyed at the decreasing volume of number of articles and adventures in the magazines.

Really? There has been a slight decrease in the number of Dragon articles over the last two months, as well as a slight page count dip, but October was a bumper issue, so the average is still quite reasonable. The number of articles and adventures in Dungeon, and the page count have remained pretty consistent.

Dragon
Issue 364: 85 pages, 15 articles
Issue 365: 80 pages, 13 articles
Issue 366: 87 pages, 14 articles
Issue 367: 75 pages, 14 articles
Issue 368: 100 pages, 13 articles
Issue 369: 71 pages, 13 articles
Issue 370: 66 pages, 11 articles
Issue 371: 72 pages, 11 articles

Dungeon
Issue 155: 109 pages, 9 articles
Issue 156: 129 pages, 9 articles
Issue 157: 136 pages, 7 articles
Issue 158: 111 pages, 6 articles
Issue 159: 99 pages, 6 articles
Issue 160: 104 pages, 7 articles
Issue 161: 128 pages, 7 articles
Issue 162: 111 pages, 7 articles
