DeathNet PbP [full]

Greetings,

I'm hoping to start up a PbP game based on the latest Polyhedron Mini-game, DeathNet. I intend to use the standard PsyKey campaign that's mentioned in the game, and I'm looking for four players. If there's interest, I'll post more details, but most of these details are already listed in the mini-game.

Disclaimer: This will be my first time GMing a PbP game, so if we do get the game going, please bear with me. I hope to gain some valuable PbP GMing experience through this game.

I'm leaning more towards a Doom/Quake type of character instead of a Street Fighter, so count on me to be the heavy ranged guy (though I may take the specific theme - fantasy, military, sci-fi - beyond simple FPS standards).
 

All right, cool, well since I've got some interest going, I'll go ahead and post the character creation rules. Garyh, Sollir, and Jarval, you guys are in. Still room for one more though.

Characters will be made using the rules described in chapter one of DeathNet. Ability scores will be bought using a 32 point buy. Remember, that since you start out at level 4, you also get a +1 ability score bonus to any one ability.

Stats for my character. I'm going for wielding-a-sword-larger-than-himself Final Fantasy style character. The melee attack is said sword, and the ranged attack is represented by him throwing his sword which turns into a bolt of lightning. Bit of background and appearance to follow this evening.

Couple of questions:

1) How are we handling Hit Points after first level? Rolling for them? Using a percentage of the HD type? Or maximum at each level?

2) Do we start with any Subroutines?

1) Go ahead and use maximum hit points at each level.

2) Negative on the subroutines for now; don't worry though, there will be plenty of in-game time to find some.

Other than that, your character looks great. Can't wait to see what the others are cookin' up.
