Do you let anime influence your game?

If so, what anime has been an influence? Personally, I'm a big fan of both Vampire Hunter D movies(although the 2nd, Bloodlust, is much more visually appealing than the first), and the anime "Amon Saga" which I picked up by chance when I worked at the flea market last year just seems to SCREAM "D&D!" to me.

Any others?

I use a lot of names from anime.
Ex. Van Finnell--Escaflowne
Record of Lodoss War is good for inspiration, i have put magic items based on items from anime.

Mostly names for characters really, Eraiyah (Quatre's sister in Gundam Wing), Trieze (Gundam Wing). A half-orc named Spopovitch (DBZ).

I made a character to emulate Guts from Beserk.
Hellsing is good for a ravenloft feel, with guns.

Yes he fights for love and peace. No he doesn't use a crossbow. He uses razorbow from Hornsaw: Forest of Blood. (And he is named Vash, though I call him the Windwalker as the nickname and gave him the surname Sepphos. )

So tell me about Amon Saga; I saw it at the store the other day but the box really didn't tell me much about it. Haven't been able to find much online about it, either. How was it?
