Do you like the Purple Dragon Knight Subclass?

Using WotCs grading system.

I liked PDK better when it was called Drakewarden. I hope they scrap it entirely and let Ranger keep its subclasses.

May as well just make Ranger itself be a Fighter subclass at this point, that could work I suppose

Love it mostly as is, but that's because I think the dragon type should be the choice of the player and the name changed to just "dragon knight". Who knows, they might have some text box with how to adapt to other settings. I think it would fit well in dragonlance, plenty of knights that rode dragons there.

It’s supposed to be a royal knight of Cormyr. I don’t get the purple dragon hatchling. Just don’t get it.

I hate the Int mechanics.
We already have 2 Int subclasses for fighter.

Cha would be better and even better if it does not rely on any abilities of the fighter.

small dragon 16 STR as it has. Use STR for attack, damage and DCs.
medium dragon 18 STR
large dragon 20 STR.

So much this. Can't we have a characters who can put their tertiary stats into the ones that fit their individual character's personality? Especially for martials when this latest game update has found even more ways for casters to use their casting stat with their weapons?

I want 2 subclasses.
1: a dragon knight, but with any dragon not just purple, and replace Rallying Surge with something like your dragon getting a few spells (i.e. Emerald dragon gets pass without trace)
Also, Cha based.

2: an a Banneret that is a martial support. Boosted help action, granting attacks, granting movement, etc...

I like the lore retcon (more lore disruption, please), but I think the mechanics need some work.
