Doctor Who - Age of Steel Season 2 #6 (spoilers)

Tennent is a great Doctor, lines like, "I'd call you a genius but I'm in the room" make me think of Tom Baker at times. However the plots and themes bore/annoy the hell out of me half the time.

Actually that quote reminded me more of Colin Baker's Doctor. He tended to be much more openly proud of his own intellect.

They gave thanks to the writer of the wonderful 5th Doctor Audio "Spare Parts" but they didn't really mine much of it at all. Actually just filming Spare Parts would have been an amazing Cybermen show and it wouldn't have required the alternate reality stuff or the Davros rip off.
