Homer stabs at the ghoulish creature in his futile attempt at saving his life, but his attempt is futile indeed.

[roll1]

Homer attacks and is surprised when his sword carves another chuck off the creature but the ghoul continues its relentless clawing after halfling flesh. The claws rake Homer and he passes out bleeding onto the floor of the confined tunnel. The ghoul begins to twist about in the tunnel; Lizt can tell it will soon try to turn to get at her. Behind her, the badger growls, apparently eager to get at the ghoul and begins squeezing alongside the thief.

[sblock=OOC]Everyone is up. Only Lizt can attack the ghoul due to confined conditions. If anyone else has actions they wish to take just interject, otherwise, I'll update whenever I get actions for Lizt.

Scott, Halflings use a d20 when making normal attacks. Only when two weapon fighting do they use a d16.

Homer sees flashes of light fill his eyes as the pain from the ghoul's filthy claws dig into his leg.

The honey badger moves past the thief with the grace and civility of a charging bull. He growells and grunts, lunges and retreats after an empty bite.

[sblock=OOC]The tunnel is narrow enough that the badger won't be able to reach the ghoul unless Lizt deliberately lets it pass and moves out of combat. This will provoke an attack on Lizt from the ghoul. Until then, no attacks from the badger.[/sblock]

OOC: Scott has the right of it. Even if someone climbed or was boosted up to the level of the crawlspace Homer went far enough that he couldn't be spotted from the room. Right now things hinge on Lizt and what CanadienneBacon has her do, unless you all can pull some sort of rabbit from your hat. Sorry; in retrospect I see this isn't the best type of encounter for pbp.
