A pier? Sort of a boardwalk? Something that sticks out from land into water often used by boats to get stuff onto land when the shore isn't suitable.

The door is locked no longer, and opens onto a small room. From the look of the contents it is occupied by someone who spends their time making carvings of animals. Apart from a small bed, the rest of the room contains shelves of carved animal statuettes, some crudely made, other exquisitely carved, from wood, minerals and even metal. Tools, half-finished pieces, raw material and waste shavings litter the rest of the room.

OOC: Thanks for the explanation

"Lets go down. Spread out a bit when we get down, but close enough to help if needed." Edmond leads the way

OOC: Back from vacation. Stay out of fireball formation :)

Down to the next ledge, and one final bridge remains that leads down to a rocky outcropping above the beach. From here it is easier to see the jetty, with a small boat moored up at it. From this ledge a tunnel winds its way further into the bowels of Old Korvosa, turning a corner to a destination unknown. There are a set of double doors on the bottom level of the shaft.

Reckoning they made enough noise to alert everyone in the vicinity, Edmond takes a look behind the tunnel curve.

OOC: going 4 squares to the right ("east") and looking into the tunnel

The tunnel winds and twists further away from the water cavern. Further down, by the next bend, it is illuminated by a torch set in a cresset.

Edmond returns.

"Mhairri, Manachan, would you please go down the tunnel for a way...silently...see if you can find something? We'll be within calling distance."
