The Description from the video.
Dragonlance is coming back to D&D later this year! Battle for the world of Dragonlance across an adventure book and battle game that includes options to link them together as a new way to play D&D.
Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen is an adventure book that tells a brand-new story at the beginning stages of the War of the Lance.
Dragonlance: Warriors of Krynn introduces a war game experience to D&D 5th Edition, featuring large scale military battles.

I wonder if we will see a reboot of the franchise, when the novels have been maybe the main hook for the IP.

Other point is if we will see only two factions (and maybe some subfactions). Usually the lore of the fantasy wargames are "everybody vs everybody else".

The question is:

will the battle game just be its own thing, with its own mechanics not capable of being integrated (at least not cleanly) into the RPG—like the existing (terrible) "Adventure System" games from WizKids and (apparently) also the Onslaught game...

...or have they finally figured out that a straightforward but interesting mass-combat game that's easy to integrate into a campaign of the RPG (like a better version of the old TSR Battlesystem) would be mind-bogglingly awesome?

A battle game. I wonder if it's a miniature game like the battle system or a battle game on a game board map, like Greyhawk Wars.
