Duergar with 2 Charisma

I see characters with low charisma as having no personality. Not ugly. Not rude and obnoxious. No personality.

So...don't try and be funny. Don't try to be intimidating. Just try and blend in with the rest of the people. You are forgettable because your personality is so...not.
That is more of a 10 charisma with a lazy player.

A person of charisma 2 is odious to be around. -4 on reaction checks is awful. If properly played, your own teammates will dislike you, only valuing what you can do for them with only the selfless characters taking pity on you for the harsh treatment others give you. In an evil party, you might not even wake up.

I might say, the onus is not on you to role-play a 2 charisma, the players and DM owe it to you to make playing the character feel like you are an incredibly unpopular high school student, ostracized so badly, suicide looks appealing.

One good way to play a low charisma character is to have some odious personal habits. A couple that come to mind: nosepicking, deciding that bathing is optional, some sort of general odor, fingernails with something growing out of them, a haircut you did yourself with a pocket knife, grooming your nose or ear hair in public, cleaning your ears with a finger while talking to dignitaries, etc. I suggest looking to the Dragonlance Gully Dwarves for inspiration. ;)

Another take is to have some issues with dealing with other people. This can be as simple as saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, saying what you think as bluntly and obnoxiously as possible, or even babbling constantly in an annoying way.

Hope these help.

When you get to a 2 charisma you have to be really pro-actively un-inspiring. A two charisma is so bad that even animals would start to hate you. A person with a 2 charisma is someone that practically no one in his right mind would ever want to follow, or be with, or associate with. It is more than a mere combination of apearance, odor, bad attitudes and poor maners. It is an attitude unto itself.

When you were born not only did they break the mold, they held an exorcism, cremated its remains, and then took the ashes to Mt Doom to ensure that it would never ever happen ever again.

Low cha does not mean able to be commanded and led by others, that would fall under willpower and wisdom. Low cha means that social interactions don't go off right, he is unable to impose his will on others neither bluffing, friendly or intimidating, its all just off.
I disagree, there are a few places where a test of wills is represented by opposed cha checks as opposed to a will save. My first thought on the question is "decide who's thrall you want to be and go from there."

I think most people wouldn't want to ever adventure with or socialize with someone with that low of a charisma. Try to avoid towns because in all likelihood mobs will form.

The inability to lead does not ever mean there is a willingness to follow. Leadership, as it relates to others' desire to follow you, is indeed based on CHA. Just look at the leadership feat.

Your low CHA might simply mean that you want to lead but are way too overbearing, blatant, mean, etc. Your mental scores are OK so your ideas are sound, if only people could endure your mannerisms, cursing, ego, w/e you want to play to the hilt. You are absolutely capable of engaging in informative dialog, but how tactful are you when you tell the party leader that you think he is going the wrong way? Maybe if his mother wasn't so poor she could have sent him to map-reading school! Whatever it is, it's just plain offensive to everyone. That and you are probably ugly as sin and you likely think that you are handsome, which would be even more bothersom.

That is a -4 reaction adjustment.

Any suggestions on how i should roleplay my 2 Chr?

I suggest you ignore appearance, as charisma doesn't really relate to appearance anymore. However the character would have a really weak AURA, people would instinctively ignore or dislike him. He's have a poor ability to enforce his will upon the world, couldn't convince people to do anything for him, people would charge him more for services or treat him poorly... in general people would consider him an animal.

I agree with some of the above posters that you'd also be much more likely to follow other people's suggestions, although that's really a will power issue... of course, the willpower saving throw aside, willpower is most accurately expressed in the current version of DnD by the charisma stat.

Low charisma shouldn't really affect your general talking, although it could be played that way, and it should certainly affect other people's inclinations to listen to you. I suggest you mutter under your breath, say things without letting people hear you (you know it's pointless anyhow). In fact, you could say anything, people will ignore you. You could be very threatening, people wouldn't care, you could be "nice and charming", your effors would go unnoticed.

Frank's comment that you'd be actively odious... that's a possibility. But having an animal's general aura is also very likely .. Many animals have a charisma around that level, I believe.

Only the unpleasant ones, rats, crocodiles, spiders squids and the like. Ones that most people don't have qualms about putting down.

IMO a player who uses Cha as a dump stat to the degree of a ‘2‘ should enjoy the thrills of ostracism every session. It is kind of mean, especially if the player suffered through that sort of treatment in real life, but that is how the world would treat them.

You might want to get the Moradin's Smile feat from RoS...+2 on Cha-based checks, dwarf-only. It'll lessen your social penalty to -2.
Why do I picture a mouthful of ultra-pollished dwarven 'bling'?
