Dungeon 140, 141 and 142 have no FR or Eberron content

I'm alright with the lower percentage of non-core-setting modules with my Dungeon magazines. Because the adventures that get published tend to be really, really good. Tend, mind you. Not all the non-core adventures recently have been home runs, of course, but of the three most recent Eberron adventures, I've used two of them. I specifically restarted a campaign to use those two (Murder at Oakbridge and Chimes at Midnight, specifically - I loves me the mysteries!). And the "Man Alone" FR adventure was my favorite high level non-AP adventure published this year.

So, as long as they're good, I don't particularly care if I only get an Eberron or an FR adventure every once in a while. I don't run nearly all the adventures I read anyway.

Demiurge out.

The less setting specific material the better, IMHO.

Anyway, it usually takes a lot less effort to convert generic to specific than vice-versa. ;)

i don't know if it's going to happen, but i personally would be pleased as punch if some future Dungeon adventure references our Elemental Princes of Evil article. :D

I've read and participated in the others. takasi tends to ramble and not get to the point. I asked what his point was in the last of these threads and he's never really answered. Many people though do like to answer for him.

What I posted above is from his threads. He tends to be selective in what he replies to, but quite often his questions are not answered either, so it just falls under the standard ENWorld non-conversation.

I've found that most of the threads involve way too much of the above discussion of Takasi's posting style though, and usually the personal attacks go unmoderated.

FR and Eberron adventure's art is usually harder to use for a homebrew game's hand outs and FR and Eberron NPCs sometimes have to be restated to be used in a homebrew game.

His questions get answered to the best of people's abilities. James Jacobs is offering the best info he can about the subject. The only way he's getting better info is with a crystal ball.

And while I'm dropping hints about campaign setting specific adventrues, fans of Mystara/The Known World and of Planescape will probably recognize some proper nouns in a couple of 2007's adventures as well...

Shut up. Just shut up.

You had me at "Yup." :D
