Editable Character sheets for homebrew/house rule heavy games, where to find?

I'm fixing to start a Ptolus game up soon and have changed a fair bit of the skills such that a normal 3.5 d20 character sheet won't work well, and was wanting a character sheet for my players where I could edit the skill list to match my house rules(and not have to write in all the skills, mainly because well, no one has good handwriting). Is there seomthing out there I'm just totally not able to use my google-fu on and find ?

If not then, What do ppl with lots of houserules do for character sheets?

try the timpani sheets at www.dndtools.com.

If on the control tab, you click "Show All Sheets", there's a page called SKillD. if your excel-fu is strong, you can make that spreadsheet dance, sing, and ride a pony. I mod it all the time.

I've attached a copy of my Deluxe Faerun Character Sheet, 4 pages total. It's a big bad'un, but with the help of EN World (in this thread), I've improved it to a good point where I'm satisfyed with it.

It's in Microsoft Word, and is fully edited to my groups need, and employs a few houserules in it (Cha to Will saves, my personal Speed system, my peronsal Weapon Group Profs system and a few other minor ones) but is easily edited back again. Open Office doesn't really agree with this sheet, to note (mainly with any very small boxes on it, but the rest is fine) so ensure you use MS Word when opening.

Other than that, hope it helps you :)

cheers,

That doc looks cool ( unfortunately right now I'm in linux at work and thus only have openoffice to look at it.) I'll try and edit it and see if I can finangle(sp?) it to what I need, but me and word havent been speaking lately. :heh:

I buy my lined paper at Costco by the bundle. My mechanical pencils there too...

I've yet to find a character sheet that can compare.
