Overall I liked the episode, but there were a couple of things that bothered me.
First of all, I hated the design of the "Enterprise J," as shown in the diagram/picture on the wall in the scene with Archer and Daniels. That's what the Federation designs are going to end up looking like? Bleh.
Also, when Daniels is pleading with Archer not to fly the insectoid shuttle into the weapon (he even suggests that Archer assign someone else to pilot it, just as long as Archer stays alive), why didn't he just play his big card: "Listen, Archer, I plucked you out of the timestream from off of your ship and plunked you here on the Enterprise J however many centuries we are in the future. I'm telling you right here and now that you're not flying that suicide mission and killing yourself, because we need you to go talk the Xindi into being friends. So you even step into that insectoid shuttle suicide bomber, and I'm plucking you right out of the timestream again. I can do it again and again; I've got plenty of time on my side. Tell me when you're ready to play it my way."
Or hell, for that matter, why not let Archer fly his stubborn suicide mission and then pluck him out of the timestream right before the shuttle blows up the Xindi weapon? Archer gets to blow up the weapon, the Xindi will only have seen an attack by a "rogue insectoid," and Archer's still alive to play the Great Negotiator to turn the Xindi into humanity's new best pals. That's what I'd have done, if I was Daniels.

Edit: "plentu" should have been "plenty."
