ENWorld Gencon Pickup Games?

Will there be a way to post pickup games at Gencon Indy? I'd love to meet some other ENWorlders for a game. I'd even be willing to run one.

Yes, the ENnies have a booth outside the Dealer Room and we gather there and post signs for pick up games.

After I get my schedule finalized, I'll see if I have any windows. If I do, I want to run a couple of games for ENWorlders.

I'm going to run a Paranoia game if people are interested, I may also try something really different and give Hollywood Camelot a go.

If registration is any indication, I may ONLY be playing ENWorld pickup games! Tonight is my anniversary, so I won't be registering till tomorrow.

I was thinking of running a D20 Future remake of some old Star Frontier's adventures or a 3.5 conversion of the Desert of Desolation series. I'd love to get into a Spycraft, Mutants and Masterminds or Black Company game. I have all those, but my group pretty much sticks to D&D so I don't get a chance to play them.

I am certainly trying to leave some time for some pickup games. I will most likely prepare a oneshot game to be ready to play in case their is a shortage of DM's.

Sometimes pickup games can be the most rewarding. Especially if you trust the GM. Some of the GMs they let in the door are out of control.

Ok, got my schedule finalized. I'm running a HARP pick-up game on Saturday, from 1-5.

I may run another round-robin GM'ing game from 7 to midnight Saturday night as well.

I have been wondering why there are no ENWorld sanctioned events - module is designed/picked by members, GM's to run the games, and board members to play it.

Or at least seminars.
