ENWorld's Tampa Gameday went great, now with pictures!

Okay I have an adventure idea I want to try out and this place will be the best.

Called: Before the Adventurers Arrive

Synopsis: "Village attacked by orcs, people kidnapped, town sets up rescue party, rescue party missing, adventurers arrive, save day" type of game well this time you get to be that rescue party. Can the butcher, baker, and candlestick maker rescue the town mayor. We shall see.

This game will be for 6 players. I have no idea how well it will work out. The whole group could be slaughtered in the begining and will only take us 20 minutes, but lets plan on 3 hours.

I don't care what time you put this game for.

Ohh yeah I can make 2/1.

Edit- Ohh only 3 hour slots, no biggy.

Do we have a time and place decided yet? 2/1 at Comic's Club or some other day at USF?

With only 2 games per slot we will try at the Comics Club and if USF is open we can move it but I woud like it from 10-5. If needed we can use my house.

USF would require some lead time for me to reserve space.

Has a date been set? How many players / individual games would we need to accommodate? BTW -- you can count me a a DM running a d20 Modern game for 4-6 people.

If you give me this info, I can see if it is even viable to have it at USF. If not, I frequent the Comics Club quite a bit, but I don't know how much room they would have available. They have only a small gaming room inside, and while outside would be under a roof, it is still subject to the weather.

Anyone suggest Arena games, yet? Their shop is set up for gaming -- 3/4 of the shop is gaming tables.

Also, another idea: the TBGA often reserves meeting space in a restauraunt to run their meetings and to have gaming. Often this space is a closed off room.

Just some thoughts.

The date is 2/1/03 and from 10-5, look at post one for a rough schedule for 2 games every 3 hours or so... sure find out about Arena (I do not know where it is) and I iwll also check with Comics Club, he is closed Mondays so will try agaon tomorrow. Sound OK?

Arena is out for a Saturday -- (hold back your meals) -- they have an all-day Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and all the game tables are taken.

BTW - they are located on Erlich Rd. down near Hutchinson (west of Dale Mabry), in the Bourban Street Plaza.

OK, so two concurrent games per 3 hour session. That might even work at Brandon Comics, provided they have space. I think they run some tourneys on Saturdays (Heroclix or Mage Knight).

I'll see if I can get two meeting rooms on campus in the student union building (Marshall Center).

A note of warning -- since the new semester has started, they may be hard to get.

I'll check today and if available will book them. They don't cost anything and can be cancelled as needed.

Thanks a lot Tim and if needed we could use my house as well :p Two games is possible no matter what so GM sign up now!!!! Players needed also.

I went to USF a few years ago, if you can't get the Marshall Center how about the business building. I know that the adventures guild ran a small con there 1 year and I ran a few games there. It's also cool looking.
