Hell yes I did! I even had PCs find an ancient psionic "control room" with a viewscreen and crystal control panel! It was full of old reptilian eggs. They never encountered live specimens.

Fantastic! Can you share with us the crunch?

IMC, I have a "Savage Land/Land Time Forgot" area where primitive Humans are dominated by evil, intelligent Lizard Men, HEAVILY influenced by the Sleestak. :)

Yoink!

For the record, I think I used to watch this TV show when I was a kid. I was heavily into dinosaurs, so that had something to do with the appeal.

cheers,

I recall that the Knights of the Dinner Table did a funny article regarding how lame sleestaks are. I wish I could remember what issue that was in.

I haven't but I think it is a cool idea. Maybe have an NPC named Marshall Willandholly (I think that is actually from a movie, hrm I think Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) that is trying to clear up a Sleestak menace. Now that I think about it, I've always wanted to do a "lost world" adventure. Ideas, ideas.....

I'm seriously considering adding Altrusians/Sleestak to my Chult campaign. They made such a huge impression on my nightmares as a kid, and they would make a good substitute for some of the other standard evil humanoids. I'm going to stat them up for D&D Beyond!

I re-watched Land of the Lost a couple years ago, and realized it heavily influenced my style as a gamer. So, strangely, did some other childhood TV, particularly, oddly enough, Wild Wild West and The Avengers (no not the Marvel ones).

I did Actually briefly play a character based on an Altrusian, though I didn't remember the name, just the idea of a time-traveler who thought he was visiting his ancient ancestors, only to be horrified by the realization that they were, in actuality, his degenerate descendants....
