No, I agree with Elder-Basilisk. The spell is a Transmutation, so only SF:Transmutation would increase the save DC. The charm gaze is an enchantment effect, so elves would get a +2 bonus against it, but you're not actually casting an enchantment spell.Am I right that I would get my Spell Focus Enchantment to affect saving throws vs. the charm gaze?
Nope. Like the other effects of eyebite, the charm lasts 10 minutes per caster level. And that the duration of those charmed by the gaze would be 1 day/level as per a regular charm monster spell?

I think it's a pretty decent choice, at least for a sorcerer. It's only a single known spell, yet you can pick from 4 effects, whichever will be more useful in a given situation.Iron_Chef said:Rats. It's not that cool, then. Still pretty good, but I'd better get something else.

You can create a variety of effects with the emotion spell as well.
Iron_Chef said:Emotion's problem is the "duration: concentration" issue. I don't use concentration spells because I want to cast and move on to the next spell, not try to maintain one I've just cast. The benefits don't seem to outweigh the problems this causes as far as I can see. Am I wrong? Am I missing something about "duration: concentration" spels in general, and emotion specifically? I like emotion, just not the duration.
