F34R my Black Magics!

Quip

First Post
I'm working on a number of new necromantic spells, I'll be posting them to this thread as I finish them.

I'll start off with the most powerful of them, and my personal favorite. It's strong, its nasty, but most of all its fun. :)

Enjoy!

Vile Flaying
Necromancy [Death, Fear]
Level: Sor/Wiz 8
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 action
Targets: See Text
Duration: See Text
Save: See text
Spell Resistance: Yes

A destructive force of pain, terror, and hatred is channeled into a single living creature, ripping the unfortunate beings flesh to peices. The target must make a fortitude save or be killed, and even on a successful save takes 5d6 points of damage plus one per caster level. Additionally, all living creatures within 30ft of the target (including the target if it survives) must make a will save or become frightened by the terrible forces as work. Those who make their save still become shaken. Other creatures who are further away than 30 ft but within 60 ft must make a will save or become shaken. All fear effects last for 1/round per level.

The school and descriptors should be Necromancy [death, mind-affecting]. "All fear effects last for 1/round per level." Per level of what? I'd assume caster level, right? Personally, I'd add a material component, and probably one that had a gp cost around 250gp.
