Favorite memories of Land of the Lost

The theme song was very catchy.

I remember an episode where they found a bunch of packaged groceries in the jungle, for some reason. I remember liking it, but I don't remember why...

Some of the sleestak (sp?) episodes were entertaining.

I did not like when they replaced the Marshal character with Uncle Whatshisname.

Anybody else?

Whoa, amazing what you can learn on IMDB. Writers for Sid and Marty Kroft's Land of the Lost included:

Ben Bova
D.C. Fontana
David Gerrold
Walter Koenig
Larry Niven
Theodore Sturgeon

Also, Kathy Coleman, the girl who played Holly, got married at age 18 and went to work on her father-in-laws dairy farm.

Bill Lambeer, the basketball player, played a sleestack on LotL. So did Lack Lambert of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

My favorite episode was when they discovered the good guy seestak who could magically hold the bad guy seestak at bay by raising his hand and causing for to billow in a doorway as he calmly continued to talk with the humans. ;)

I had such a crush on her as a kid. Thank goodness Wonder Woman came along just as this show was ending so I could transfer my crush to Lynda Carter.

I liked when they started trying to figure out how to work the pylons. One of the best episodes was when Holly met her older self. That was pretty cool.

I used to love when the Marshells would explore the sleestak caverns while they were in hybernation. Talk about scary!
Ditto.

Wasn't there a fire-breathing stegosaurus or somesuch?

Marhsall, Will, and Holly
On a routine expedition
When the greatest earthquake ever known
High on a mountain
It struck their tiny raft
And plunged them down a thousand feet below
to the Land of the Lost!

Now, I don't know if that's 100% accurate, but it's from memory, for a show that aired 30 years ago. Catchy, indeed.
